Basic Sightseeing Tour

You will start your tour with a morning drive around the beautiful city to see all the highlights of the co-capital, the White Tower, the Arch of Galerius, the Rotunda, the Roman Agora, the cathedral of the Patron Saint Demetrius, the city wall and the Ano Poli (Upper City). 
Ano Poli offers you a superb, breath-taking view of the city and the Aegean Sea and you will of course have the chance to taste a traditional northern Greek lunch at the region of “Ladadika”. You will also visit the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki, the Holocaust Memorial and the Modiano Market.

Half-Day Jewish Tour

Meet your local professional guide in the morning  and make your way out of the city towards the highest mountain in Greece and also according to the Greek Mythology a home of the Olympic Gods.

At first you drive up to Christakis refuge. A mixture of tarmac (the first 20 kilometers until Kalivia Elassonas) and dirt road (the next 22Km) lie ahead of us until we reach the refuge at an altitude of 2,430 meters. From here you start our hiking ascend (approx. 60-70 min.), initially on an uphill, part of the E4 (European Trail) path, traversing the peak of Skolio (2,912m)- reaching Skala, from where we will continue our hiking adventure towards the most demanding part of the ascend. You then follow “Kakoskala”, enjoying a scramble climb until the peak of Mytikas (2,917m) where Zeus used to observe the whole of Greece!

The total duration of this thrilling  journey may last between 8-10 hours (including transfers).
