Day 1: Seville City Tour & Boarding the Train
In the morning you meet your group at the meeting point. While the crew transfers your luggage to the train, you have a panoramic city tour of Seville.
Today you get to experience authentic Andalusian spirit in one of its most important cities. Your sightseeing program features top sights starting from the symbol of the city - the Giralda Tower that used to be a minaret back in the days. Next on your list is the beautiful Real Alcazar of Seville - the oldest European royal residence composed of a group of buildings from different time periods. Seville Alcazar along with Seville Cathedral and General Archive of the Indies are registered by UNESCO as the World Heritage Site.
After lunch you continue the sightseeing tour and cross the famous Plaza de Espana before boarding the Tren Al Andalus.
After check-in, you are offered a welcome drink and dinner on board as your train heads to Jerez.
Day 2: Exploring Jerez Region
Following breakfast you have a guided visit to a wine cellar, as Jerez is famous for sherry wines. Then you attend the show "How the Andalusian Horses Dance" - a famous equestrian ballet with Spanish music.
In the afternoon you have lunch in the city of Sanlúcar de Barrameda overlooking the salt marshes of Doñana National Park and river Guadalquivir’s mouth. After lunch you take a walk around the city to explore the architecture and enjoy the Atlantic landscape.
After the tour you return back on the train and have dinner on board.
Day 3: Day Trip to Cadiz
After breakfast you are taken to Cadiz that is considered to be one of the oldest cities in Europe.
Upon arrival, you visit the fascinating neighbourhoods, admire at 18th-century Cádiz Cathedral, see the city hall and the other attractions. After the tour you have some free time to explore the ancient Andalusian port city on your own.
After the tour and transfer back to Jerez, you have lunch and dinner on board, as your train heads to the stunning city of Ronda.
Day 4: Ronda City Tour
Following breakfast, you spend a day exploring the largest of Andalusia's "white towns" - marvelous Ronda.
During the guided walk, you learn about the rich historical heritage of Ronda, visit the Church of St Mary the Elder and the Church of the Holy Spirit. You also have a chance to see Plaza de Toros - the oldest bullring in Spain and cross the Puente Nuevo Bridge - the most famous landmark of the town. You have free time to relish the spectacular views of Ronda before you return to the train.
You have lunch on board as your train heads to Granada, known as the last stronghold of the Moors in Western Europe. Upon arrival, you enjoy dinner on board.
Day 5: Alhambra of Granada Tour
After breakfast you start a tour of Spain's most visited attraction - the Alhambra Fortress that used to be the residence of the Muslim rulers and their court. Get awe-inspired by its numerous arabesques, porticos, pools and Islamic ornamental masterpieces of its hallways.
After lunch you have time to explore the numerous historical sights and medieval architecture of Granada at your own pace.
After dinner you return on board for overnight.
Day 6: Touring Towns of Ubeda and Baeza
In the morning you enjoy train journey to the station of Linares-Baeza, from where your driver takes you to visit Ubeda and Baeza which are two of the most historic cities in Andalusia.
The famous Plaza Vázquez de Molina and fascinating Sacra Capilla del Salvador in Ubeda, the charming Collegiate Church in Baeza, great number of attractive cobbled squares and wonderful stone facades are in your today's travel list. Renaissance Monumental Ensembles of Ubeda and Baeza are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After lunch you return to the train, have dinner and continue your way to Cordoba.
Day 7: Cordoba
After breakfast on board you enjoy a guided tour around the most outstanding sights of Cordoba, that used to be the largest city of Roman Spain.
During the tour, you see the ancient Roman Bridge, the famous 14th-century Royal Castle - Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, and of course the gem of the city - the renowned Great Mosque of Cordoba. Not only is it the oldest mosque in Europe, this sacred place is the ideal reflection of Spain's unique mixture of cultures, religions and epochs. No surprise it is officially called a Mosque-Cathedral, as alongside with the most significant monument of the western Muslim world it also houses Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles in its, you won't believe it, Christian part!
After the tour you return on board to enjoy your lunch, while Tren Al Andalus takes you to Seville.
Day 7: Departure
This is the final destination of your amazing tour!
Upon arrival to Seville, you have a transfer to the airport, station or another destination depending on your future travel plans.
Not included: international flights, multiple arrival/departure transfers, other meals not mentioned in the program, optional tours and services, all personal expenses.
Note: we include 1 vehicle for your arrival and departure transfers. If multiple vehicles are required additional transfer costs will apply.
