Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver, who transfers you to your hotel for the check-in.
The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip. Alternatively, you can choose one of our carefully planned optional tours.
Day 2: Sachsenhausen Memorial Tour
Following breakfast, you meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby and embark on a 6-hour day trip to the Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum, memorial site of the former Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.
On this emotionally challenging and touching tour you learn about the history of this terrible place, that was the center of the concentration camp network across Europe. On the tour of the memorial site you discover original buildings, ruins as well as many permanent exhibitions depicting the history of the site, where over 200,000 Jews, political opponents and Soviet prisoners of war were imprisoned, and over 30,000 - murdered.
After the tour you return to Berlin and have evening at leisure.
Day 3: Jewish Heritage Walking Tour & Departure
Following breakfast, you check out, meet your guide and embark on a 4-hour walking tour with your private guide to explore the significance of the Jewish community in Berlin throughout history.
Today you walk through the streets of the "Scheunenviertel", with its special and colorful atmosphere, and see the famous "New Synagogue". You then proceed to the oldest Jewish cemetery in Berlin, where the first synagogue was located, and see the tomb of Moses Mendelssohn.
You also see some of the famous Stolpersteine (Stumbling Stones) as well as the house of Regina Jonas, the first woman ever to be ordained as a Rabbi. Memory of the Holocaust is ever-present in Berlin, which you witness during this walking tour.
After the tour and time for lunch you have a transfer to the station.
Day 3: Arrival
Upon arrival, you walk to your hotel and have the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 4: Jewish Heritage of Dresden
After breakfast you check out and have morning at leisure.
In the afternoon you meet your private guide and start a 2.5-hour walking tour. During the tour, you get to learn and amaze how much influence Jewish people had in the history of Germany and especially in Dresden starting from the 17th century; how much history changed in the 20th century in the period of Nazi regime. On a tour you visit New Synagogue, the Old Jewish Cemetery and a train station Neustadt.
For your convenience, you tour ends at the Dresden-Neustadt train station from where you travel to hotel by public transport.
After free time for lunch you take your luggage and head for the station.
Day 4: Arrival
Welcome to the fairy-tale capital of the Czech Republic - Prague!
Upon arrival, you are transferred to your neat Prague hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 5: Small Group Tour to Terezin
In the morning you meet your guide and group and start a trip to the town of Terezín, better known by the German name Theresienstadt as a ghetto and concentration camp.
In less than an hour you arrive to Terezín and start a group tour of Ghetto Museum and the small fortress. During the tour you learn about the history of the ghetto established by the Nazis in central Bohemia’s walled fortress town during November of 1941. You then explore the small fortress that served as the prison of the Prague Gestapo from 1940 to 1945.
After a 5-hour tour, you return back to your Prague hotel.
Day 6: Jewish Heritage Tour in Prague & Departure
After breakfast you check out and have morning at leisure. In the afternoon you meet your private guide and start a 3-hour guided walk.
During the tour you touch the layers of Jewish history around the Jewish Quarter of Prague, also known as Josefov. Formerly the Jewish ghetto of the town, Josefov is one of only a few Jewish districts in Central Europe to survive World War II’s Holocaust. Visit the Old Jewish Cemetery, learn the story of the Czech Jewish community in the Jewish Museum, admire at the synagogues and follow the footsteps of the famous novelist Franz Kafka.
After the tour you return to your hotel and have a private transfer to the station.
Day 6: Arrival
Upon arrival to the European capital of music, your driver transfers you to the hotel in the very heart of the city.
After check-in the rest of the day is free to either relax or start exploring glorious Vienna on your own.
Day 7: Vienna Sightseeing
Following breakfast, you check out and have morning at leisure. In the afternoon you meet your private guide in the hotel lobby and start a 3-hour walking tour to learn about Jewish history and the Jewish contemporary life in Vienna.
You start the exploration from Judenplatz, where the very first Jewish community lived and where a Holocaust Memorial was established in 2000. Continue to Morzinplatz and the Jewish textile Quarter. Learn about life of Sigmund Freud, a famous Austrian neurologist with Jewish origins who used to live and work in Vienna.
After the tour you return to your hotel for luggage and have a private transfer to station.
Day 7: Arrival
Upon arrival, you check in to your neat downtown hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure, so you can start exploring the nearby attractions on your own, dine in a local restaurant or take a rest after your trip.
Day 8: Definitive Auschwitz Tour with Private Transfers
In the morning you meet a private driver in the hotel lobby and have a 1.5-hour trip to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial.
Concentration camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau the largest Nazi concentration camp built during the World War II. It is now regarded as the symbol of humanity's cruelty and registered on the UNESCO world list. You have a 6-hour group tour of the memorial sights, including authentic crematories, gas chambers and barracks.
After the tour you have a transfer back to Krakow.
*Please, note: it is not allowed to take big bags, backpacks or handbags inside to the museum of Auschwitz.
Day 9: Jewish Walking Tour in Krakow
Following breakfast, you check out and have morning at leisure. In the afternoon you meet your guide and start a 3-hour walking tour dedicated to Jewish heritage in Krakow.
Today you explore Kazimierz - a historical district of Krakow Old Town where most of Jewish life is concentrated, and pay special attention to Jewish Quarte. Your tour covers the most significant sites related to Jewish culture, like 7 synagogs, Remuh Cemetery and New Jewish Cemetery, Old Jewish Market, former ritual slaughterhouse and Jewish Community Centre.
After the tour you have a transfer to the train station.
Day 9: Arrival
Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel. After check-in you have the rest of the day free.
Day 10: Jewish Walking Tour & Jewish Museum in Warsaw
In the morning you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and start a tour of the sights related to Jewish history in Warsaw.
Between the 19th century and World War II, Warsaw considered as a capital of Jewish culture in Europe. Your walking tour covers Nozyk synagogue, old Jewish district, and Kirkut – old Jewish cemetery. You also visit Jewish Ghetto, Umschlag Platz and Monument to Ghetto Heroes.
The special part of your tour is dedicated to POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews located on the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto.
After the tour the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 11: Departure
This is the final day of your tour! After breakfast your driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home.
