Day 1: Arrival in Catania
Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver, who transfers you to the hotel for check-in.
Day 2: Sightseeing Tour
Following breakfast meet your private guide and embark on a walking tour of the city which sits at the foot of Etna Mount, a highest and active volcano of Europe. Together with your guide, you see the most of the city highlights including Roman theatre, Catania Duomo and a whimsical Fontana dell'Elefante statue which is considered to be the symbol of the city.
After the tour, you may return to the hotel or continue an exploration of the city on your own.
Day 3: Departure
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and depart from Catania.
Day 3: Arrival in Taormina
Upon arrival at your hotel, you have the rest if the day at leisure.
Day 4: Day Trip to Mount Etna and Wine Tasting
In the morning meet your private driver and set off on a trip to one of the most famous Sicily attractions - Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe.
Your driver takes you to an access point - the Rifugio Sapienza on the southern slope located 2,000 meters (6562 feet) above sea level. Here you take a walk to visit the "Silvestri" craters and the latest new lava flows and craters from 2001-2003 and enjoy the desert moon atmosphere!
On the way down you also visit a local winery to have a tasting of the Etna wine.
After the winery visit you have a transfer back to Taormina hotel.
Day 5: Departure
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and meet your private driver for the transfer.
Day 5: Arrival
Upon arrival at the hotel, you have the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6: Sightseeing Tour
Upon arrival at the hotel meet your guide and together you start the city tour. Today you visit one of the most important archeological sites in the World, the Neapolis Park of Syracuse. Here you explore the still-working Greek Theater, the Ear of Dionysius and the Roman Amphitheater.
Your tour continuous to the delightful Ortygia Island where you have an inside visit to the Duomo where a Greek Doric temple remains to be a part of it, and for this reason, it is included in the UNESCO list.
After the tour you return to the hotel and rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 7 Discovering Baroque Towns Tour
Following breakfast in your hotel, meet your private driver and embark on a trip to UNESCO Heritage sites - Baroque towns Ragusa, Modica and Noto. Upon arrival to Ragusa, meet a local guide and start a city tour. Ragusa was almost destroyed in an earthquake in 1693 and was subsequently rebuilt and divided into two parts Ragusa Ibla (lower town) and Superiore (upper town).
Head to Modica - a town of 100 churches. Besides marvelous architecture, this town is famous for its Cioccolato di Modica production.
On the way back with your driver have a short photo stop in Noto.
Day 8: Departure
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and depart from Syracuse.
