Fyksesund is renowned for its countless waterfalls, which we'll navigate up close, allowing you to feel the spray of the cascading water. During a leisurely walk through this stunning cultural landscape, which has been inhabited for the past 400 years, you'll gain insight into the livelihoods of its residents and learn about important local history. After a 2 km journey along a gravel road and hiking trail, we'll arrive at the "Furehaugen" viewpoint, 180 meters above sea level. From here, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the majestic fjord landscape of Fyksesund and the village of Botnen—a truly hidden gem worthy of capturing with your camera.
Returning to the fjordside, you'll board our RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) for the journey back through the stunning fjord landscape.

After breakfast today you set off for a hunt of fantastic Norwegian nature sceneries.
You take a local bus to the Stegastein Viewpoint and enjoy a hike to Mount Prest. The bus ride travels via Aurland, where from you go for a scenic Mt Prest hike, and then follows the Aurland road, which is one of Norway's national tourist roads to the Stegastein Viewpoint for fantastic views of Norwegian fjords.
The Stegastein construction is an attraction in itself - the platform that juts out from the mountain made from laminated wood and steel has garnered attention far beyond the Norwegian borders and has gained distinctions for exciting architecture.
Tour continues with a hike (about 6.5 km in length - 4 hours). Enjoy the fresh mountain air and witness one of the most amazing nature creation - the fjords.
After the tour you return back to Flam.

The national pride of the country, the Thingvellir National Park has a very important historical significance - it is the place where the oldest existing parliament in the world (first assembled in 930 AD) is set. The “Althing” was held here for almost 9 centuries, until 1800. However, it is not only history that attracts thousands of visitors to this unique land.Being part of a fissure zone running through Iceland, the Thingvellir area is a great lava arena in a rift valley formed between the Eurasian and the North American tectonic plates and serves a visual representation of continental drift. The area also features the largest natural lake in Iceland - Thingvallavatn, surrounded by lava flows and lush vegetation.
