Viking Heritage Tour to Roskilde & Viking Ship Museum

After your visit to the museum, continue your scenic drive to Hirtshals, a charming coastal town known for its historic lighthouse and bustling harbor. Whether you're heading to Hirtshals for a ferry crossing or to explore the town's maritime heritage, your journey from Jelling promises to be an enriching experience steeped in Viking history and Danish culture.

Arrival & Rest 

Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel, and for the rest of the day, you can either climb to the top of Denmark's tallest lighthouse for panoramic views of the North Sea and surrounding coastline or explore the bustling harbor area. You can watch fishing boats come and go and visit the Fishermen's House museum to learn about the town's maritime history. 

Departure 

In the morning  you can discover the fascinating marine life of the North Sea at this large aquarium, featuring interactive exhibits and a diverse range of sea creatures or simply  relax on the sandy beaches near Hirtshals, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying scenic coastal walks

Upon arrival to Bergen, you check in to your centrally located hotel for overnight.

Exploring Bergen, Summiting Mountains, and Farm Visits 

Begin your day in the bustling city at your hotel, where your knowledgeable guide will lead you through Bryggen's cobbled streets, rich with Hanseatic history.

Next, explore the iconic Fish Market before ascending Fløibanen funicular to Mount Fløyen's summit for breathtaking views of Bergen and its fjords.

Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Bergen to begin your unforgettable adventure.

Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of the Hardangerfjord on a tour that begins with a cruise through the main fjord before delving into the Fyksesund fjord branch, the narrowest part of the Hardangerfjord.

In Fyksesund, you'll be surrounded by towering 1000-meter-high mountains as your captain and guide make several stops along the way, allowing you to fully appreciate this unique fjord landscape. They'll also share fascinating facts about the fjord and its former inhabitants.

Fyksesund is renowned for its countless waterfalls, which we'll navigate up close, allowing you to feel the spray of the cascading water. At the end of the fjord arm, we'll disembark in the roadless and authentic cultural landscape of the village of Botnen. This geographically isolated community has a rich history of cultural exchange with the outside world.

During a leisurely walk through this stunning cultural landscape, which has been inhabited for the past 400 years, you'll gain insight into the livelihoods of its residents and learn about important local history. After a 2 km journey along a gravel road and hiking trail, we'll arrive at the "Furehaugen" viewpoint, 180 meters above sea level. From here, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the majestic fjord landscape of Fyksesund and the village of Botnen—a truly hidden gem worthy of capturing with your camera.

Returning to the fjordside, you'll board our RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) for the journey back through the stunning fjord landscape. 

Once the tour is complete, your driver will be ready to transfer you back to your hotel, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Trip to Stegastein Viewpoint and Self-guided Hike to Mt. Prest 

After breakfast today you set off for a hunt of fantastic Norwegian nature sceneries.

You take a local bus to the Stegastein Viewpoint and enjoy a hike to Mount Prest. The bus ride travels via Aurland, where from you go for a scenic Mt Prest hike, and then follows the Aurland road, which is one of Norway's national tourist roads to the Stegastein Viewpoint for fantastic views of Norwegian fjords. 

The Stegastein construction is an attraction in itself - the platform that juts out from the mountain made from laminated wood and steel has garnered attention far beyond the Norwegian borders and has gained distinctions for exciting architecture.

Tour continues with a hike (about 6.5 km in length - 4 hours). Enjoy the fresh mountain air and witness one of the most amazing nature creation - the fjords.

After the tour you return back to Flam.

Welcome to Reykjavik - the picturesque capital of Iceland! Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to the famous Blue Lagoon, where you start your Iceland adventure with a relaxing visit to one of the most visited attractions in Iceland.

You have approximately 2 hours to soak up in the Northern sun while relaxing in warm geothermal seawater surrounded by a surreal lava field.

After this relaxing experience your private driver transfers you to your hotel for check-in.

Dating back to 930 AD, Þingvellir was the site of the world's arguably first democratically elected parliament, the Alþingi. For over 800 years, Icelanders convened here to discuss legislation, administer justice, and lay the foundation for the nation.

Next, you journey to Stöng in Þjórsárdalur, where you'll explore a reconstructed traditional farmstead from the Commonwealth Era. This authentic reconstruction offers a glimpse into rural life in pre-modern Iceland, providing insight into the daily routines and challenges faced by early settlers. The original farmstead is believed to have been destroyed in the Hekla eruption of 1104 AD.

Golden Circle Tour 

Embark on a fascinating 8-hour tour around the Golden Circle. The first highlight of your day trip is visiting the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site - Thingvellir National Park. The national pride of the country, the Thingvellir National Park has a very important historical significance - it is the place where the oldest existing parliament in the world (first assembled in 930 AD) is set. The “Althing” was held here for almost 9 centuries, until 1800. However, it is not only history that attracts thousands of visitors to this unique land.Being part of a fissure zone running through Iceland, the Thingvellir area is a great lava arena in a rift valley formed between the Eurasian and the North American tectonic plates and serves a visual representation of continental drift. The area also features the largest natural lake in Iceland - Thingvallavatn, surrounded by lava flows and lush vegetation. You then discover the picturesque Gullfoss - one of the most beautiful and popular waterfalls in Iceland. Your next stop is the Geysir area scattered with hot springs, mud pools and geysers, including the famous geyser Strokkur - the world´s most active. 

Among other beautiful sights today, you also visit the spectacular Brúarfoss waterfall.

After the tour you return to your Reykjavik hotel.
