Bay Of Islands Hole in The Rock
The Bay of Islands boasts the second bluest sky in the world, second only to Rio De Janeiro.
Embark on a full-day tour starting with pickup from Auckland hotel. You journey north, immersing ourselves in the stunning landscapes of The Far North District on a scenic three-hour drive.
Arriving in Paihia, you'll embark on a 3-hour guided cruise in search of dolphins and other marine life, including a visit to the famous Hole in the Rock. Cruising on a catamaran, you'll weave between the bays and 144 islands in the area.
A stopover on Urupukapuka Island offers a chance to relax on the beach, enjoy a picnic, or hike to the island's summit for 360° views of the region. You'll also visit the iconic Hole in the Rock on Motukokako Island as the boat sails to the end of the Cape Brett Peninsula.
If tide conditions allow, you'll explore the Hole in the Rock before heading back to port.
Upon returning from the cruise, you'll journey to the beautiful Whangarei Waterfalls, where a 30-minute hike around the falls provides ample opportunity for stunning photographs.

Your Hobbiton tour starts with a scenic drive across the Kaimai Ranges to the small town of Matamata.
Just outside the town of Matamata is your destination: Middle-earth! Sir Peter Jackson and his team knew this private farm would make the perfect spot to build the village of Hobbiton for the award-winning The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movie trilogies.
Take a guided tour and see the picturesque village you saw on screen in living colour before you.See the Hobbit holes, the Green Dragon Inn, the Party Tree, the Mill and many other structures from the movies, while learning about how the set was built.
You might even hear a few secrets from behind the scenes!
In the evening you will see a cultural performance and take part in a traditional Maori ‘hangi’ feast at Tamaki Maori Village. You will be transferred to ‘marae’ (Maori village) for an immersive evening that begins with a welcome ceremony by New Zealand's indigenous people. Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland
This stunning geothermal park amazes visitors with its diversity in colour ranging from bright orange to emerald greens.
The park’s landscape is scattered with a huge variety of thermal activity; steaming lakes, bubbling mud and other fascinating terrain. Important not-to-miss highlight of the Wai-O-Tapu guided day tour is the “Mud Pool”. This feature was the site of a large mud volcano which was destroyed through erosion in the 1920′s. It now provides an opportunity to experience the captivating noise of bubbling mud.
