Today after lunch, a private guide picks you up from your hotel and takes you on a walking tour of Hoi An, an ancient town that has earned a UNESCO world heritage site recognition. Your first stop will be at the Fujian assembly hall, it was built around 1690. Its beautiful exterior, rich history, and mysterious features will captivate those seeking architectural and cultural points of interest in Hoi An

Next, you will visit one of the ancient houses, called 'Quang Thang Ancient House'. It is 150 years old and carries the architectural style of Hoa Ha, China. Throughout the years, the style as well as interior decoration of the house has been lovingly preserved.

After this, you will pass by the famous Japanese-covered bridge. The Bridge impresses its visitors with its stunning curved roof, which covers every inch of the bridge. The roof was also decorated with yin and yang patterns, this is one of the trademarks of Vietnamese culture and architecture.

Next, we stop at the central local market to get a glimpse of authentic Vietnamese life. The market has French-influenced design and architecture. It has a variety of items, including fresh food, dried food, and local Vietnamese dishes like Cao Lau, rice dumpling cake, sweet soup, and Hoi An bread. Additionally, many colorful lanterns and souvenirs made by locals are also sold here.

You will continue to explore the town by visiting the Silk Village. Here you can also get hands-on experience in harvesting mulberry leaves, feeding silkworms, and deciphering between true and synthetic silk. You will then be guided to take a 20 minutes boat ride. A lantern boat ride on Hoi An Old Town’s canal is a must-try experience after the sun goes down.
