Arrival in Venice
Welcome to Venice - one of the most charming cities of Italy. Upon arrival, you have a private water-taxi transfer to the hotel for the check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip.
Venice Sightseeing and Mask Workshop
After breakfast at your Venice hotel, meet your private guide in the lobby and enjoy a wonderful walking city tour of all the must-see places.
Your sightseeing program starts with a visit to the main square of the city, St. Mark's Square. Here you see the outstanding 500-year old Torre dell'Orologio also known as St Mark's Clocktower which is famous for displaying not only the time of the day but also the dominant sign of Zodiac and the current phase of the moon.
Among many sights you discover are the iconic St. Mark's Basilica, where you see the astonishing Pala D'Oro altar. You go up to Loggia dei Cavalli to enjoy the best panoramic views of St. Mark's Square.
Following a lunch break, your guide takes you for a private mask workshop where you spend an amazing time with your loved ones and create a unique souvenir to bring back home. During the 2-hour private master class, you learn more about the history of masks and design one with your own hands! With the guidance of a professional artist, you go through the all steps of creating a mask from choosing your unique mask base to making it perfect with various decorations, including feathers, rhinestones, trimmings, and glitter. Believe us, your family will have great fun together!
After the workshop, you may continue the exploration of the city on your own or return to the hotel.
*Note: we advise you to have a private gondola ride through the canals of Venice and enjoy the city from another perspective. And you may take a chance to extend your tour to Dorsoduro district and meet the gondola yard owner. Here to unveil secrets of the old craft, listen to mysterious stories and learn more about different parts and materials used for the gondola.
One more site which is a must-see in Venice is Rialto bridge and its market which gives a unique chance to feel the real, authentic Venetian atmosphere. The market displays essential elements of local cuisine and might be considered as one of the very few open-air food markets still active in Italy.
Day at Leisure & Departure
Following breakfast and check-out you have the first half of the day at leisure. You may explore Venice on your own or take one of our carefully planned optional tours.
In the afternoon you take a water-taxi to the rail station where you board a fast train to Florence.
*Note: We recommend you to take a private trip to Murano & Burano Islands famous for the glassblowing studios and lacemaking manufactures. Here you can see the way famous Murano glass products are made right in front of you and walk by the colorful fisherman houses.
On the other hand, you may stay on the main island of Venice and visit a glassblowing studio in the very heart of the city. Here you meet the artisan in a third-generation who devoted his life to this famous craft.
Venice is also a perfect place for water activities. Here you may take a row lesson and try the traditional Venetian style of rowing on a hand-crafted all-wood boat (not gondola) which is now very rare. Or you may explore Venice on a kayak tour in a small group or privately for your family (minimum age is 8 years, 66lbs).
Arrival in Florence
Welcome to Florence! Upon arrival, your private driver transfers you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip.
Florence Sightseeing and Gelato & Pizza Class
After breakfast at your hotel, meet with your private guide and start a walking tour of Florence's highlights.
Today's program includes exploration of the Piazza del Duomo with a visit to the Baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
As you proceed to the main square of the city - Piazza della Signoria - you pass through the heart of the historical center with its landmark sites like Piazza della Repubblica and the Strozzi Palace. Stroll down via Tornabuoni, one of the most beautiful streets of the city, famous for its fine shops.
After a short lunch break, we invite you and your kids to a fascinating pizza and gelato cooking class! During the class, you discover the recipe for the authentic pizza and delicious gelato. After unveiling all secrets, you create your own gastronomical masterpieces with a professional chef and, of course, taste them! Buon Appetito!
Following a cooking class, you may return to the hotel or continue the exploration of the city on your own.
Day at Leisure in Florence
Today is free day for you to savor magnificent Florence on your own or join one of our carefully planned optional tours to ancient and scenic destinations, located about a one-hour drive away from Florence.
*Note: Florence and Tuscany offer many exciting activities for families. You may choose to stay in the city and discover the history of the Uffizi Gallery which holds masterpieces of Botticelli, Caravaggio, Raphael and youg Leonardo Da Vinci, or you may explore works of Michelangelo in the Galleria dell'Accademia on a special family tour.
The Museum of Leonardo Da Vinci offers an extraordinary experience of sharing and learning where you see the real machines designed by Leonardo came into life.
On the other hand, you may be interested in the tour to the Stibbert Museum which is on the edge of the city and contains a vast collection of arms and armour, costumes, paintings of Western and Eastern civilizations.
In Florence, you may also join a guided tour through the Galileo Museum to learn more about a collection dedicated to scientific instruments and the discoveries of the Pisan astronomer.
Outside the city, you may take a trip to a Tuscan local farm and learn more about the countryside lifestyle, meet animals, enjoy a traditional lunch and have tastings of local products.
To highlight your time in Florence you may opt for a plain air painting class and in about 2 hours create your own masterpiece under the careful eye of the tutor.
Departure
Following breakfast in your Florence hotel, you check out and meet your private driver for a transfer to the railway station.
Arrival
Welcome to Rome - one of the most charming and heritage-rich cities in Italy. Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver, who transfers you to the hotel for the check-in.
Here you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and embark on a panoramic walking city tour to see the most famous attractions and hidden treasures of the Eternal City.
You see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as witness the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini, and many others.
After the tour, your guide takes you back to the hotel and you have the evening at leisure.
Roman Forum and Colosseum Tour
In the morning after breakfast, you meet your guide to discover famous ancient treasures of the Eternal City on a walking tour.
Your first stop today is the iconic Roman Forum, situated on low ground between the Palatine and Capitoline hills. Dating back to the 3rd century A.D., the landmark served as the key political and ritual center of ancient Rome.
The next place you discover today is Rome's hallmark site - the legendary Colosseum. Originally known by the name of Flavius amphitheater, it was the biggest and most imposing building of its kind in the Roman world, designed as an arena for the fights of Roman gladiators and could hold up to 70 thousand spectators. The place, indeed, leaves indelible impressions!
After the tour, you return to the hotel or continue the exploration of the city on your own.
*Note: to enhance your tour of Colosseum you may join a Gladiator Combat masterclass. Here you have a unique chance to learn the basics of gladiatorial combat and compete with a tunic and sword at the cultural association that specializes on Roman life's re-enactment and Gladiatorial combats. This beginner course takes about 2-hours and includes an introduction to Ancient Roman History and a description of the Gladiator's life.
Roman Mosaic Workshop
After breakfast in the hotel, you have a short transfer to a private Roman Mosaics workshop.
Today your family turns in to a team of professional mosaicists! Following the best Imperial Roman traditions, you cooperate during the class to create a great single piece of Roman mosaic with the unique design featuring your incomparable insights!
After the workshop, you have free time to explore the city on your own or join one of our carefully planned optional tours.
*Note: you may opt for a classic Vatican tour including the most interesting sites like Sistine Chapel, Pinecone Courtyard, Galleries of the Candelabra, Tapestries and Maps. This tour covers an inspiring story of young Michelangelo, fascinating facts about the Ancient Romans and Greek, the Renaissance history and fascinating Raphael paintings.
For more fun and interactive experience for your children in the Vatican, you may choose a tour designed for ages 3-6 and 6-12 years old. Professional guides stimulate the curiosity of your children and in this dynamic tour show the main highlights.
You may also highlight your time in Rome with a picnic in one of its parks. Everything is ready for your joyful time with the family - a special place and a delicious Italian meal.
Departure
This is the last day of the tour, your driver meets you at the hotel lobby after breakfast. You are transferred to the airport and depart home with a handful of memorable experiences.
