Welcome to Milan, the fashion capital of Italy! Upon arrival to Milan, you are met by your driver and taken to your downtown hotel.
There are no planned activities for you for today day, so you can relax and recover after the flight. If you would like to do some looking around, we suggest visiting the world-famous shopping and fashion avenue, Quadrilatero Della Moda.
Trip to Lake Como
Today after breakfast prepare for an exciting full day tour to Como Lake. Together with your guide and driver you head to one of the most beautiful natural sights in the world located in the footsteps of the Alps.
Lake Como is not only spectacular but rich in history and tradition. From Milan to the foothills of the Alps, it is the heart of Italian romance and history. Como town boasts several artistic monuments from different historical periods. During the city tour, you see the medieval walls surrounding the historic center, stroll through the ancient streets in the heart of the town, and admire beautiful Romanesque and Baroque churches. You see the Piazza Volta and Piazza Duomo with its charming old Town Hall building and its characteristic bell tower. During the tour, you enjoy public boat tour as well as a Como-Brunate funicular ride.
The highlight of the tour is a visit to the superb 600-year old Como Cathedral. Nearby is the Palazzo Terragni, an example of the modern rationalist architecture.
After the tour, you return to your Milan hotel and have the remaining day at leisure.
Milan Sightseeing & Departure
Following breakfast and check-out you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and have a 3-hour walking tour of Milan to learn more about the city’s history and reputation as a fashion capital.
You start with visiting world-known Milan Duomo, the Gothic cathedral and the highest sight in the city which took about six centuries to build. Then you walk through the nearby-located Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and reach La Scala Theatre. Prepare to be wowed by the prestigious Milan opera house (no entrance is included).
You continue with the picturesque Brera district to feel the historical atmosphere of the city. Explore the public areas, with stories of its 15th-century owners ringing in your ears. After all, you make a stop at Castello Sforzesco to see history and style combined with Milanese flair.
*Please note: Milan Cathedral is a sacred religious site thus the dress code for visiting it is applied just as when you visit any church in Italy: no shorts – no uncovered knees and shoulders, no backpacks.
*Note: The unique treasure of Milan - Leonardo da Vinci’s legendary fresco “The Last Supper” located in the church of Santa Maria Delle Grazie is not included in the city tour due to its limited availability. Please, ask your travel specialist about available tickets for your tour date.
In the afternoon your private driver transfers you to the railway station. In about 2 hours you reach your next destination, Genoa. Upon arrival, you are taken to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the evening is free.

Genoa City Tour
After breakfast you meet your private guide in the lobby of the hotel and go on a 3-hour sightseeing tour of the city.
Your start exploring Genoa with Saint Lawrence Cathedral, which contains the ashes of the Saint John the Baptist, and Piazza De Ferrari. This square is considered as the heart of the town with the Carlo Felice Opera House and beautiful fountains on it.
You enjoy the views of Porta Soprana, the 12th century city gate, Christopher Columbus' House and have a walk along Via XX Settembre, one of the major arteries of Genoa with shops and elegant buildings.
You then have a photo stop at la Spianata di Castelletto for an unforgettable view over the city. You continue towards via Garibaldi, whose beautiful 16th century Palazzi dei Rolli were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006.
In the end of the tour you walk down towards the Old Port with Palazzo San Giorgio, where according to an old tradition, Marco Polo dictated the "Il Milione".
After the tour you return to the hotel and have the rest of the day free.
Tour of Portofino, the Italian Riviera & Departure
Today you continue exploring the Italian Riviera. In the morning you check out, meet your private guide and driver at the hotel and drive along the coastal road to Santa Margherita Ligure. The coastline is scattered with quaint and friendly seaside villages and offers breathtaking views.
Upon arrival about 45 minutes later, a panoramic tour highlights the places of interest, including the Parish Church of Santa Maria della Rosa and the 16th-century castle which you explore from outside.
Then you take a public boat for a short cruise to reach Portofino. Upon arrival, you start a walking tour from the famous Piazzetta, a meeting place of the international jet set, overlooked by the typical colorful houses.
Please note: ferries are available from April to October. In winter season and if the weather conditions do not allow to take a ferry, you reach Portofino by car.
After the tour, you are transferred back to Genoa port to embark an overnight ferry which will take you to Sardinia.

Arrival in Sardinia & Tour in Castelsardo
Upon arrival to the port of Olbia, you are picked up by your private guide-driver for the first sightseeing tour of the island.
Your first destination is Castelsardo, situated on the northern coast of Sardinia. Castelsardo is a truly amazing medieval town overlooking the sea. Archaeological excavations proved human presence in this area since Nuragic times. Together with your guide you explore the picturesque historic part of the town including the castle and fortifications built in the 12th century.
Then you continue towards the western coast of Sardinia. Upon request, you can make some nice photo-stops or a stop for beach time before going to your hotel.
In the end of your trip, you arrive at the centrally-located hotel in Alghero for check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip.
Alghero City Tour & Neptune Caves
Today you meet your private guide in the lobby of the hotel and start with a walking city tour of Alghero.
Alghero has preserved many buildings, which bear witness to the Aragonese and Spanish domination, such as the surrounding walls, defensive towers, ancient buildings which are still in use today, and priceless religious monuments. Today during the walking tour your guide shows you all the main sites such as the Cathedral of Alghero, "Piazza Sulis" and the tower of Espero Reial, which is one of the towers that were part of the city walls.
Then after the break for lunch, you continue to the caves, dedicated to the sea God Neptune. These are the most popular caves of Sardinia, to reach them you take a public boat from Alghero and the cruise takes around half an hour. During your guided tour of the Neptune caves, you enjoy the stunning beauty of this famous natural attraction.
After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day on your own. Narrow streets, cozy restaurants and breathtaking views of Alghero are a perfect plan for the evening.
Departure
After breakfast, you check out from the hotel and depart from Alghero.

Upon arrival to the capital of Sardinia, you check in to your centrally-located hotel and have the rest of the day free.
Cagliari Sightseeing & Departure
In the morning you check out and have half of the day to explore the city of Cagliari with your private guide.
Cagliari means sea, sun, monuments, wonderful vistas in a whole. Its profile is made of a most peculiar mix of architecture, customs, and traditions influenced by different dominations.
During the Cagliari historical tour, you walk through Porta Cristina and visit the Medieval quarter called “Castello” which means Castle in Italian. You see the 14th-century Pisan towers, San Pancrazio and Elefante, visit the Governor's Palace and the Cathedral. Then you enjoy the most beautiful view of the town from the Bastion "Saint Remy".
In the afternoon you have a tour to Nuraghe of Barumini. It is the most important and well preserved among about 7.000 nuraghe spread all over the island. Also called “Su Nuraxi”, The Nuraghe, in 1997 it was declared World Heritage by UNESCO and is absolutely a Sardinian place worth visiting.
After the tour, you are transferred to the port to embark the overnight ferry which will take you to Rome. The night is onboard.

Arrival in Rome & Sightseeing
In the morning you arrive in Port of Civitavecchia in Rome. Upon arrival, your private driver meets you at the port and takes you to the centrally-located hotel in Rome for check-in.
After check-in, you meet your guide for a stroll through the very heart of Rome. Today in about 4 hours you see the most famous attractions and hidden treasures of the Eternal city. You explore the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as witness the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini, and many others.
The highlight of your day is a tour of the most well-recognized sight of Rome - the Colosseum. Taxi fare to travel between the sites with your guide is included.
After the tour, you return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Vatican Sightseeing
In the morning after breakfast, you meet your guide and have a transfer to the walled enclave and the world’s smallest independent state - Vatican*.
When inside the Vatican, you visit private apartments of Julius II, Pinecone Courtyard, Gallery of the Maps, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of Candelabra.
Next, you proceed to the Sistine Chapel, where you have enough time to admire Michelangelo's famous frescoes and learn about the intense relationship between Pope Julius II and Michelangelo that drove the artist to create the greatest work of art the world has ever known.
Then your tour continues in the vast open spaces of St. Peter’s Basilica, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. As you step into the basilica, you'll be awestruck by the grandeur of its immense, ornately decorated interiors.
The ending point of your tour is St. Peter’s Square, where you can admire Michelangelo's Dome and the gorgeous colonnades designed by Bernini.
Upon your return to the hotel, you have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the beauty of Rome on your own.
*Please note: the Vatican is a sacred religious site thus the dress code for visiting it is applied just as when you visit any church in Italy: no shorts – no uncovered knees and shoulders, no backpacks. Due to religious services St. Peters Basilica may be spontaneously closed, thus entrance to St. Peters Basilica may not be guaranteed.
Departure
This is the last day of your amazing tour of Italy! After breakfast, your driver meets you in the hotel lobby and takes you to the airport for your flight back home. We wish you a safe flight and hope to work on your future vacations!
