Spanish Steps in System Hub
The well-known Spanish Steps in Rome is one of the most charming sites in the city. It is located between Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, with a fountain set on the base of the steps and the imposing Trinità dei Monti church at the top. Designed by Francesco de Sanctis, the steps date back to the early 18th century and attract numerous visitors each year to admire the postcard-like site. The Spanish Steps look especially wonderful in the warmer months when it is covered in blooming flowers.
