Day 1: Departure from Moscow and Tour in Vladimir
In the early morning, your private guide-driver picks you up in Moscow and takes you on a 4-day Golden Ring Tour.
On the way to Suzdal, you have a tour in Vladimir to witness unique architectural creations. During your tour around this town, you go inside the Dormition Cathedral that preserves the world famous frescoes of Andrei Rublev dating back to the 15th century.
Together with your guide you explore the architectural complex of the Cathedral of St. Dimitriy (exterior) and walk along a central pedestrian street full of galleries, artists, and local souvenirs.
Day 1: Arrival in Suzdal
Upon arrival in Suzdal, you have a check-in and a free evening to enjoy the atmosphere of provincial Russia.
Day 2: Tour of Suzdal & Departure
Following breakfast in the hotel, you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Suzdal known as a city-museum of the Golden Ring. Suzdal boasts its large number of preserved historical monuments of ancient Russian art and architecture.
During the tour, you visit UNESCO World Heritage Site - the brilliant architectural complex of the Kremlin. Continue your trip to the Museum of Wooden Architecture which is an example of classical ancient Russia.
After a lunch break, you depart from Suzdal.
On the way to Yaroslavl, you have a sightseeing program in Plyos and Ksoctroma.
Together with guide-driver you explore the most famous attractions of Plyos and enjoy an interesting “landscape” excursion “The Living Pictures by Levitan” dedicated to the life and artistic heritage of Russia’s most celebrated landscape artist Isaac Levitan who created his greatest paintings in Plyos.
After the tour you are transferred to the historic city of Kostroma built at the confluence of the Volga and Kostroma Rivers. Upon arrival you have time for lunch followed by a guided city tour that includes a visit to the architectural complex of the Ipatiev Monastery. This place always had a privileged position and in May 1913 it became the center of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Romanovs’ Royal House.
Day 2: Arrival in Yaroslavl
Upon arrival in Yaroslavl, you have a check-in at the centrally located hotel and an evening at leisure.
Day 3: Exploring Yaroslavl Monasteries
Following breakfast in the hotel, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and have a guided city tour around the most interesting Yaroslavl landmarks.
During the tour you explore the architectural complex of the Transfiguration Monastery and go inside the Church of Elias the Prophet to enjoy its amazing frescoes.
*Note: the church of Elias the Prophet is open from May 1st to October 1st.
The rest of the day is at your leisure to continue exploring Yaroslavl city center on your own.
Day 4: Tour in Rostov and Sergiev Posad
Following breakfast in the hotel and check-out, meet your guide-driver to continue the trip. On your way to Sergiev Posad you have a guided tour in Rostov the Great - one of the oldest cities in Russia that was first mentioned in chronicles in 862. During the tour you explore the beautiful Rostov Kremlin, including its famous Enamel Museum.
*Note: Enamel Museum is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
In about two hours after departure from Rostov, you have a tour around the most cherished treasures of Sergiev Posad. The highlight of the day is a tour lead by a churchman in the spiritual center of Russian Orthodoxy - the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius.
After the tour you continue the trip to Moscow.
Day 4: Arrival in Moscow
Upon arrival in Moscow, you are taken to the hotel or to the airport/train station, depending on your travel arrangements.

How to book
To book, all you need to do is to make a deposit of 20% of trip price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change. Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.
Can I modify my trip after I booked
Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
