Day 1: Arrival to Tashkent

Welcome to Tashkent - the magnificent capital of Uzbekistan! Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your centrally located hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free for you to have a good rest after your trip.

Day 2: Tashkent City Tour

After breakfast you meet your guide and driver and start exploring the capital of Uzbekistan situated at the foot of the Tien Shan Mountains.

During the sightseeing tour you explore Khast Imam Complex - a religious center of Tashkent, Kukeldash Madrasah and Chorsu bazaar. After a break for lunch you explore the new part of the city: Independence Square, Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, Navoi Theatre and Amir Temur Square.

After the tour you have the rest of the day free.

Day 3: Transfer to Tajikistan

In the morning you check out, meet your driver and head to Oybek where you cross the border between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Day 3: Khujand City Tour

After crossing the border, you meet your Tajik guide and continue your way to Khujand, the second largest city of Tajikistan. 

Khujand is located on the Syr Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley. It is one of the oldest towns not only in Tajikistan but also in the entire Central Asia. During the tour you visit the Registan Square, explore the Panjshanbe Bazaar - the biggest bazaar in Tajikistan, and admire Central Mosque. In the afternoon you visit the The Arbob Cultural Palace where the first president of Tajikistan was chosen. 

After the tour you are transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 4: Transfer to Dushanbe

Following breakfast, you check out and start your way to Dushanbe. The road goes over Anzob pass, a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3 372 m (11,063 ft) and through the tunnel of Istiqlol. Prepare your cameras, as today you have numerous photo stops to admire magnificent mountainous scenery.

Day 4: Dushanbe City Tour

The second half of the day is dedicated to Dushanbe exploration. The city tour covers Rudaki Park, White House, House of Parliament and Jomi Theatre. At the National Park you find the Ministry of Inner Affairs and the huge National Flag of Tajikistan. At 165 m (541 ft), Dushanbe Flagpole was the tallest free-standing flagpole in the world from its completion in 2011 until 2014.

In the evening you enjoy dinner at a traditional restaurant where you try Tajik national food. You spend the night at the centrally-located hotel.

Day 5: Iskanderkul Mountain Lake

Today you experience magnificent beauty of Tajikistan at its finest as you travel to Iskanderkul - a mountain lake of glacial origin. The lake lies at an altitude of 2,195 m (7,201 ft) in the famous Fann Mountains. 

The road to the lake goes again over Anzob pass providing amazing panorama views. Upon arrival, you walk along Iskanderkul's fabulous beaches and optionally hike 40 minutes to a waterfall. After having some rest near the lake, you drive to Panjakent. 

Day 5: Arrival

Upon arrival to Panjakent, you have dinner and check in to hotel.

Day 6: Panjakent City Tour

Ancient Panjakent was a flourishing town in pre-Islamic Central Asia. Penjikent of that time was one of the most important cultural and crafts centers of Sogdia, an ancient Iranian civilization. It was a superbly fortified well-organized city with a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses and clay statues of ancient gods. During the tour you explore the modern city, as well as the remains of the ancient city including the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen and fire worshipers church. 

After the tour, you are transferred to Uzbek border.

Day 6: Arrival

You meet your driver at the border and have a transfer to Samarkand hotel. Upon arrival, you check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7: Tour of Samarkand

Today you explore Samarkand - the famous historic city often described as the crossroads of culture. After breakfast you meet your guide and start a sightseeing tour.

You visit such must-sees as Guri Emir - legendary mausoleum of Amir Temur and all his family members, Registan Square - the world famous complex of 3 Madrasahs and Golden mosque. The other sights on your list are Mosque Bibi Khanum – the biggest mosque ever built in Central Asia as gift of wife of Tamerlane to her husband, and traditional Siyab bazaar - a unique place where you can get acquainted with the life of Samarkand people. 

After exploring these and other sights of Samarkand, you return to your hotel and have evening at leisure.

Day 8: Tour on the Way to Bukhara

In the morning you check out and continue exploring Uzbekistan. Your guide takes you to the green city of Shakhrisabz - a UNESCO-World Heritage Site. Here you see the birthplace of Tamerlane, his palace Ak Sarai, Kok Gumbaz Mosque and Mausoleum of Jehangir - Tamerlane's grandson.

Day 8: Arrival

Upon arrival to Burkara, you check in to your hotel and have the evening at leisure.

Day 9: Bukhara City Tour

Located in the middle of the Kyzylkum Desert, Bukhara has about one thousand architectural monuments recalling the golden age of the Great Silk Route. After breakfast, you meet your guide and go on a tour of Bukhara’s Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage Site), its famous almost 50-meter tall Kalyan Minaret and the Labi-Hauz Ensemble. Then you explore the massive Ark Citadel, a city within a city that was once the seat of government of Bukhara’s former rulers. 

In the evening you enjoy a folk show and a show of national clothes.

Day 10: Departure for Turkmenistan

In the morning you check out and have a transfer to Uzbekistan - Turkmenistan border.

Day 10: Exploring 

You meet your Turkmen guide and start your trip to Mary. On your way you cross one of the biggest deserts in the world known as Karakum Desert. 

After a few stops to view the amazing sand dunes and bush forests of the desert, you head to the city of Merv - a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Considered the pearl of the East, Merv today is the unique remnants of what was once one of the world’s largest and most magnificent cities. You see gigantic walls and ramparts simply standing in the middle of the desert next to the imposing ruins of ancient buildings. 

After the tour you are transferred to Mary, check in and have evening at leisure.

Day 11: Flight to Ashgabat

In the morning you check out and have a transfer to the airport.

Day 11: Tour of Ashgabat

Upon arrival, you meet you guide and driver and start exploring Ashgabat, the capital and the largest city of Turkmenistan. Your sightseeing starts from Ashgabat Fountain that contains the world's greatest number of fountain pools in a public place. The complex includes 27 fountains with the statue of the founder of the Turkmen nation, Oguz Khan, installed on a central podium.

After a lunch break you explore the  "My White City Ashgabat" monument and learn why Ashgabat boasts to have the world's highest concentration of white marble buildings. Afterwards, you have a panoramic drive along the main streets of the city. In the evening you check in to your hotel and have a good rest.

Day 12: Modern Ashgabat

Following breakfast you continue exploring the city focusing on its new neighborhoods with modern buildings, monuments, and parks. 

You visit the famous Alem Culture & Recreation Center with the biggest indoor Ferris wheel in the world, walk along the Health Path of Turkmenbashi to catch impressive mountain views and admire Neutrality Monument - a 75 m (246 ft) tall arch topped by a 12-m (39 ft) tall gold-plated statue of the first President of Turkmenistan. In the late afternoon you have a transfer to the airport.

Day 12: Arrival

Upon arrival, you proceed to your hotel for overnight.

Day 13: Day Trip to Konye-Urgench

Following breakfast, you guide takes you to Konye-Urgench that is the site of the ancient town of Urgench. Urgench was the capital of the Khorezm state - one of the most powerful empires in the 12th century. Nowadays the ruins of Old Urgench are included in UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. The sightseeing of the Old City covers a series of monuments from the 11th to the 16th century, such as a mosque, a fortress, mausoleums, and a 60-m high minaret.

After the tour you are driven back to Dashoguz for a lunch break followed by a transfer to Uzbek border.

Day 13: Arrival

After crossing the border, you meet your local driver who takes you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 14: Khiva Sightseeing

Today you explore the oasis of Khiva, a fairy tale from 1001 Nights – in stone. On your sightseeing tour, you see one of the best-preserved ensembles of medieval oriental urban architecture in the world: Khiva's Kalta Minor Minaret, incredible palaces, mosques, mausoleums, Koranic schools, the mighty town wall with its gates and bastions of mud brick. 

In the evening you are transferred to the Urgench airport.

Day 14: Arrival

Upon arrival, you have a transfer to your hotel.

Day 15: Flight to Almaty

Following breakfast you check out and have a transfer to the airport.

Day 15: Exploring Almaty

Upon arrival to Almaty, you meet your guide and start exploring the main landmarks of this green metropolitan city. Among them are the impressive Zenkov Russian Orthodox Cathedral, one of the world's tallest wood buildings, and a popular place for townspeople - the Green Bazaar. You also travel to Kok Tobe hill to admire a 372 m (1,220) tall TV Tower at the foot of the mountain. As a highlight, you enjoy the famous Almaty cableway ride from the hilltop to the city center.

After the tour you are transferred to the hotel for check-in.

Day 16: Transfer to Bishkek

In the morning you check out and start your way to Bishkek.

Day 16: Arrival

Upon arrival to the capital and the largest city of Kyrgyzstan, you start exploring its highlights. Victory Square, Duboviy Park, Central Ala-Too Square, the National Arts Museum and many other places of interest are on your today's list. During the day you also enjoy the views of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too range that provides a spectacular backdrop to the city. 

Day 17: Trip to Issyk Kul Lake

After breakfast your driver transfers you to Issyk Kul Lake surrounded by the Tian Shan mountains. Thanks to its magnificent sandy beaches, crystal-clear water, and a combination of mountainous and sea climate, the high-mountain lake is called "the pearl of Central Asia".

On your way to Issyk Kul, you visit the historic Burana Tower, an open-air museum of Balbals to see the stone warriors, and the city of Cholpon Ata to explore a unique complex of Rukh Ordo that hosts 2000-year-old petroglyphs.

Day 17: Arrival

Upon arrival, you have an overnight in a hotel nestled on the northern bank of Lake Issyk-Kul.

Day 18: Grigorievka Gorge on the Way to Karakol

Following breakfast, you check out from your hotel, and your driver transfers you to Karakol - the fourth largest city in Kyrgyzstan. Along the way you drive past the breathtaking Grigorievka Gorge - the perfect location to enjoy the mountains covered with snow tops and slopes with blue and green pine trees. 

Day 18: Arrival 

You continue your way along the northern shore of the lake to the town of Karakol. Upon arrival, you visit the Dungan Mosque built in Chinese style without a single nail, and an old wooden Orthodox Church decorated with icons, pictures and wall paintings. The night is spent at a centrally-located hotel.

Day 19: Jeti Oguz Gorge & Meeting the Eagle-hunter

After check-in, you meet your guide and drive to Jeti Oguz Gorge famous for its unique red rock formations. Your way continues to another notable sight of Kyrgyzstan - the Broken Heart Mountain. Optionally, you can have a 40-minute hike on the top of the mountain to catch a wonderful panorama of the gorge. 

You continue your trip breaking in Bokonbaeva Village where you meet a local eagle-hunter. You learn about an ancient kind of hunting animals with the help of eagles preserved from generation to generation.

Day 20: Departure from Bishkek

This is the last day of your amazing tour. After breakfast, you check out from your hotel, and your driver transfers you to the airport for your flight back home.
