Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to the gorgeous ancient city - Edinburgh! Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver at the airport, who transfers you to the hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

Day 2: Edinburgh Royal Mile and Distillery Tour
Today following breakfast you get to explore the capital of Scotland. In the morning meet with a guide in a lobby to start a tour of the Royal Mile.

You tour includes a visit of the Edinburgh Castle to explore this famous fortification and enjoy great panoramic views of the city. After the tour (around 4 hours) you return to your hotel.

In the afternoon you take a short walk to the Holyrood Distillery and enjoy a 1-hour group tour. Here a local guide introduces you to the world of flavor, you learn  about both malt whiskey and gin production, and enjoy spirit samples  along the way.

*Note: transportation for the tour is not included. The distillery is located within walking distance from the hotel.

Following breakfast in your hotel and check out you meet the driver-guide to continue the trip.

Your day starts with a visit to the city of Stirling, Scotland's heritage capital which is the home to the finest collection of historic buildings in Scotland. Here you visit the Royal Palace, the jewel of Stirling Castle’s crown and view the King and Queen’s apartments. You also see the original, famous Stirling Heads and the wonderful Royal Kitchens. Then you continue your journey to the lovely village of Dunkeld on the banks of the River Tay. Here you find the Hermitage - a protected site featuring a stretch of magical Perthshire forest. Also known as part of the Perthshire Big Tree Country the Hermitage is home to the giant Douglas firs that you can admire while you make your way to the Black Linn waterfall. Today your journey ends in Pitlochry, a cozy resort town located amongst the stunning scenery of Highland Perthshire.

Day 3: Arrival in Pitlochry
Right after Dunkeld you have a stop at the Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery* to discover the beautifully balanced single malt whiskey and enjoy a 1.5-hour guided tour inside. Here you visit the warehouse, see the heritage exhibition, and have a single tasting from the range of fine Scotch whiskeys. 

Upon arrival to a cozy resort town located amongst the stunning scenery of Highland Perthshire, you have a check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day is at your own leisure

*Note: visitors must wear sensible footwear on the distillery tour (no high heels or open-toed shoes permitted). From November to March the distillery is closed on Sunday.

Day 4: Departure
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and continue the journey.

You start the day with a tour of the Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl and home to Europe's last remaining private regiment, the Atholl Highlanders and discover the unique story of this castle. As you drive north into the Cairngorms National Park you take in the amazing scenery, learn some more about the wonderful wilderness of Scotland: five of the six highest mountains of United Kingdom are located within the park, huge forests of ancient native trees are found here as well as cascading waterfalls and rich wildlife. You then continue to Culloden Moor - the site of the final Jacobite Rising where the Jacobites were finally defeated by government soldiers in 1746. Explore the Culloden Visitor Centre, located beside the battlefield, that features artifacts of the battle and interactive displays that reveal the background to the conflict. Your last stop for today is a visit to the 4000-year-old Bronze Age cemetery complex - Clava Cairns. This exceptionally well preserved prehistoric site casts a light upon the distant history of Highland Scotland. Finally you are taken to Inverness.

Day 4: Arrival in Inverness

Day 5: Malt Whiskey Trail
Following breakfast in the hotel, you meet with your private driver-guide and embark on a relaxed trip to discover whiskey distilleries of the Highlands. 

Your first stop today is at the Glen Moray Distillery Elgin and here you have a tasting of 4 drams from traditional single malt range. Continue with the Glenfiddich Distillery Dufftown which is one of the last independent distilleries in Scotland, maintaining the tradition of innovation with a pioneering spirit. 

In the Dufftown, you also have a short walk to discover remaining of the curtain-walled Balvenie Castle. It was built in the 1200s and still have fine Renaissance details inside.

After Dufftown, you can either choose to travel to the lovely town of  Keith, the home of one of the oldest distilleries in Moray Speyside,  Strathisla, or head to the Glenlivet Distillery, operating almost continuously since it was founded in 1824.

After the tour, you return to the hotel in Inverness. 

Day 6: Departure from Inverness
In the morning after breakfast you check out from the hotel and the next stop is the famous Loch Ness.

Here you have a guided tour and have a dram of Oban 14-year-old and a dram of Oban Little Bay.

Enjoy a scenic drive to Glasgow via Glen Coe and Inveraray Castle which is considered as one of the most spectacular drive in Scotland. This narrow valley of Glen Coe is where the bloody massacre of the MacDonalds took place in 1692. Glen Coe with its mountain peaks carved out by the glaciers and volcanic explosions is also an iconic film location: it is featured in the James Bond's Skyfall and Harry Potter movies. Here you have a chance to visit the Glencoe Visitor Center and Exhibition (entrance tickets not included). One of the main highlights today is the amazing Inveraray Castle featuring in Downtown Abbey. You will visit the romantic Castle & Gardens on the shores of Loch Fyne and discover one of Scotland’s finest stately homes. The way to Glasgow from the castle goes along the Loch Lomond and the western part of Trossachs National Park.

Day 8: City and Whiskey Tour
Following breakfast in your hotel, meet your guide and start a 4-hour walking tour. Together you explore the gems and the great historical importance of Glasgow.

This port city on the River Clyde, famous for its shipbuilding industry, is famed for its outstanding Victorian and art nouveau architecture, fine art museums and excellent shopping opportunities. Following the tour, you may visit the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and the Burrell Collection.

In the afternoon, after a break, we have planned for you a very special  small group tour dedicated to whiskey. It combines a great storytelling  about the famous whiskey distilleries and the history of the drink  itself. You meet your group guide and enter 4 finest whiskey venues in  Glasgow to try at least 5 premium malt Scotch whiskeys. Moreover, during  the tour, you also learn how to find a perfect match of whiskey and  food as well as how to use this Scottish national drink for making  amazing cocktails. 

Following the tour you have an evening at leisure.

Day 9: Departure
This is the last day of your Scotland adventure! In the morning after breakfast, you check out from the hotel and the driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home.

How to book

To book, all you need to do is to make a deposit of 20% of trip price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change.  Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.

Can I modify my trip after I booked

Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
