Your program overview

Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to the legendary capital of Russia - Moscow! Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your centrally located hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free to relax in your cozy room, dine in one of the nearby restaurants or start exploring the amazing city center on your own.

Day 2: Exploring the Kremlin, Armoury Chamber & Zaryadye Park
This day is dedicated to the exploration of one of the most outstanding Moscow icons, the Kremlin, and the heart of Moscow, the Red Square.

Following breakfast, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and walk to the Kremlin territory where you have a chance to explore the gems hidden behind the Kremlin walls such as the Cathedral Square and the Assumption and Annunciation cathedrals. Then you visit the famous Armoury Chamber that houses a unique collection of crown jewels, stunning coronation finery, hand-forged armor and weapons, royal carriages and sleighs, and world-famous Fabergé eggs.

After a short break, you take a walk through the beautiful Red Square, appreciate the beauty of the colorful St. Basil's Cathedral, and explore the famous GUM department store. Here all sweet teeth have an amazing opportunity to taste famous ice cream that was not only a trademark of the Main Department Store but also a favorite dessert of local kids during Soviet times.

During the tour, you also pop in the new Zaryadye Park that became a modern symbol of Moscow well-known for its amazing photo locations with the most scenic panoramas of the historic center of Moscow. Make sure to have your cameras charged!

Then you can continue exploring Zaryadye Park attractions on your own or return to your centrally located hotel to relax after a long day.

*Note: Kremlin is closed on Thursday.

As an option, we recommend you to visit a modern interactive archaeological museum located in the underground space at Zaryadye Park. For evening, we advise you to take a boat ride along the Moskva river to see the Russian capital from a completely different perspective. Contact your destination specialist for details.

Day 3: Museum of Cosmonautics, Subway Tour & Moscow Circus
In the morning after breakfast, you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and head to the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy or VDNKh in Russian.

This outstanding exhibition is one of the most popular hang-out spaces in Moscow. The VDNKh complex offers plenty of cultural exhibitions, amusement parks, and recreational areas full of numerous cafes and restaurants to meet any taste and budget. As an option, you can pay a visit to the Moscow Model Pavilion where you can find an impressive model of the Russian capital (free entrance). Moreover, here you can witness the great examples of architectural objects from the Soviet era. 

Everybody dreamt about flying to space at least once, right? Your next stop for today is the Museum of Cosmonautics where you can find out more about the space history of the Soviet Union. It was opened on April 10, 1981, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the very first space flight performed by Y. Gagarin. The museum boasts various space-themed exhibits and models dedicated to the history of astronomy and space exploration. 

Then you take a ride on the legendary Moscow Subway to look at the local life from another perspective and explore a few beautifully decorated subway stations. The Moscow Subway is famous for being one of the most marvelous and efficient metro networks on the planet! After the tour, you walk back to your hotel to have some rest.

In the evening, to crown your day, we invite you to the Moscow Circus which is well-known for its family-oriented shows with world-class performers and unique costumes! Transfers are included.

*Note: the Museum of Cosmonautics is closed on Monday; circus show is subject to availability.


Day 4: Panoramic City Tour & Train to Saint Petersburg
Following breakfast, you check out from your Moscow hotel and start your day with a panoramic Moscow city tour. During the tour, you enjoy the breathtaking city views from the Sparrow Hills and see the mighty building of the Moscow State University, one of the highest of seven Stalinist skyscrapers of Moscow.  

Then you see the spectacular Cathedral of Christ the Savior and learn the story of its destruction and reconstruction. You also drive by the Victory Park and have a stop at the Triumphal Arch to make some postcard-like photos!

After the tour, you are transferred to the train station to board a train to St. Petersburg.

*Note: if you would like to extend your stay in Moscow, the great ideas are to visit the beautiful Izmailovo park that has its own Kremlin or to have a tour of Museum of Chocolate and Cocoa History. Contact your destination specialist for details.

Day 4: Arrival
Welcome to St.-Petersburg - the Venice of the North! Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver, who transfers you to the hotel for the check-in.

The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip.

Day 5: Panoramic City Tour, Boat Ride & Folk Show
Following breakfast, you meet your private guide and driver to go on an amazing panoramic city tour around the most cherished gems of St. Petersburg, including Palace Square and the Hermitage Museum, Nevsky Prospect, Church of Our Saviour on Spilled Blood and many other famous attractions.

Next on your list is a 1-hour guided boat ride to explore the legendary jewels of Saint Petersburg from the waterside, including the mighty Peter and Paul's Fortress, the gorgeous St. Isaac's Cathedral, and the fairy-tale Winter Palace (Hermitage Museum) to name a few.

*Note: boat is weather-sensitive transportation and available from early May to mid October.

To immerse yourself in the Russian culture, in the evening, you enjoy a mesmerizing festival of the Russian spirit with the performance of the professional folk ensemble at the Nikolaevsky Palace. Let yourself get enchanted by the allure of Russian traditional accordion and balalaika as well as some rare and exotic instruments. Private transfers are included.

Day 6: Tour of the Hermitage Museum & Matryoshka Painting Master Class
Following breakfast, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and go to the iconic Hermitage Museum to see its unique collection of world art.

During the tour, you visit the halls of the Winter Palace to explore the main collection of the Hermitage, including the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, El Greco, Francisco Goya, and Thomas Gainsborough.

You then cross the Palace square to enter the General Staff Building which houses Hermitage's superb collection of Modern European Art, primarily consisting of the world-famous French impressionist and post-impressionist paintings. You also hear the legendary story of Hermitage cats that have been living in the museum's basement for the last centuries. 

As a highlight of the day, after the tour, you have a fascinating time with your kids making a wonderful Russian souvenir to take home. During the 2-hour private master class, you create a traditional Russian matryoshka doll with your own hands! With the guidance of a professional artist, you go through the all steps of painting your figurine from choosing your unique doll set to creating your uncomparable design. All the materials for the class are included. Following the class, you enjoy a tea-break. 

Then you are transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Day 7: Grand Maket Russia & Fun for the Whole Family in Peterhof
Following breakfast, you meet your private guide in the hotel lobby and continue your St. Petersburg exploration. 

Your first stop for today is the unusual museum that represents Russia in miniature. The Grand Maket Russia covers an area of 800 sq m (8,600 sq ft) where you can find numerous models of typical Russian landscapes. The child-friendly exhibition features lots of moving cars, trains, and even tiny figures of people and animals creating real-life scenes. Moreover, all installations of the museum are accompanied by light and sound effects making your visit even more unforgettable!

After a lunch break, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and travel to the outskirts of St. Petersburg to explore the former summer residence of Russian tsars and the gem of palace architecture - Peterhof.

During the tour you take a walk in the beautiful gardens, lavishly adorned with 176 fountains of various forms and styles and numerous gilded statues of ancient gods and heroes. Today you also learn about the tricky fountains created by Peter I, who was known to be fond of this sort of jokes and pranks. You see Umbrella Fountain with jets of water pouring off the cap, the Roman Fountains that are shallow enough for children to splash in them, the Pyramid Fountain, the Spruce Fountain, the Chessboard Cascade, and the Lion Cascade.

After the tour you travel to the center of St. Peterburg by the hydrofoil. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

*Note: the fountains operate in April - September. The hydrofoil is weather-sensitive and unique transportation available from mid-May to early October.

Day 9: Departure
This is the final day of your amazing Moscow - St. Petersburg tour. After breakfast you check out from your hotel, and your private driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home.

The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change.  Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.

Can I modify my trip after I booked

Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
