Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to Hanoi, the Vietnam’s bustling colonial capital. Upon arrival, your driver transfers you to the centrally-located hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip or start your independent exploration.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour & Water Puppet Show
Following breakfast, you meet your private guide and driver in the hotel lobby and start an 8-hour tour around the top-sights of Hanoi. This marvelous city is renown for its one-of-a-kind architecture and rich cultural heritage.
The first place on your agenda today is the Ho Chi Minh Complex, home to a museum and the mausoleum of the first president of Vietnam. Interestingly, the complex is even a pilgrimage site for locals as this leader has done much for the country to achieve independence.
Next on your list is the astounding One Pillar Pagoda. This unique Buddhist temple was built on a bearing pillar way back around the 1030s and still stands in the charming surroundings of a pond with lotuses.
Continuing your acquaintance with traditional Vietnamese architecture, you see the Temple of Literature, one more historic landmark built almost 10 centuries ago in honor of Confucius.
Today you also get to explore West Lake including the Tran Quoc Pagoda, this gorgeous construction which is almost 1500 years old and is the oldest one in Hanoi, as well as the Quan Thanh Temple, an 11th-century Taoist beauty built in the name of Tran Vo.
As a highlight of the day, you enjoy a 45-minute Water Puppet Show. You get to immerse yourself in the Vietnamese traditional art, observing a performance which preserves Hanoi's centuries-old theatrical legacy, with roots going back to Vietnam's village culture.
After the tour you return to the hotel and have the rest of the evening free.
Day 3: Drive to Halong Bay
Following breakfast you check out and have a shared transfer to Halong Bay which is UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 3: Halong Bay Cruise
Upon arrival, you embark a traditional cruise ship and enjoy lunch onboard as you sail out into Halong Bay. This breathtaking bay located in northern Vietnam has been numerously claimed to be one of the most scenic locations in entire Asia. Halong Bay boasts several thousand islands, formed of limestone, set against the emerald blue of the bay's waves.
During your afternoon cruise, you pass Halong’s many islands, including the Dinh Huong and Ga Choi. Along the way, you visit one of the bay's 3 largest caves, either Thien Cung, Dau Go or Sung Sot. There are numerous legends and myths about these age-old natural wonders and their impressive rock formations. You get to walk through one and see it with your own eyes.
Afterward, for some laid-back relax time, you make a stop at an island cove with a gorgeous sheltered white sand beach. Weather permitting, you have the opportunity to swim in the clear waters of the Tonkin Gulf.
As one more notable experience of your trip, you get to spend the night on board the ship.

Day 4: Disembarkation & Transfer to Hanoi
Early in the morning you have the chance to exercise by doing Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay's towering islands. Have a morning cup of coffee or tea before setting out to explore the nearby islands by rowboat.
You return to the vessel for breakfast, then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay as you navigate back to Halong City. You have brunch onboard before returning to Halong pier, from where you have a group transfer back to Hanoi.
Your private driver meets you at Hanoi center and takes you to the airport for your in-country flight to Danang.

Day 4: Arrival
Upon arrival, your guide and driver take you to your hotel in Hoi An Town for check-in. The remaining part of the day is free, so you can relax in your room or begin exploring the local surroundings on your own.
Day 5: Trip to My Son & Hoi An Walking Tour
Prepare for one more exciting day touring Vietnam! Today you visit the ruins at My Son sanctuary which is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham structures in Vietnam. This site is a must-see for those who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations, and is now one of five UNESCO World Heritage sites in Vietnam.
Afterward, continue your day tour by driving to Hoi An for lunch time, this town is a wonderful break in the middle of your journey. Here you enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter. You immerse in the atmosphere of typical Asia and visit the Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the Japanese Bridge.
Later in the day, as one more memorable journey highlight, you take a short boat trip to a nearby island, where you visit a handicraft village specializing in ceramics.
After the tour, you return to the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy a free evening at your leisure.
Day 6: Farm & Fishing Eco Tour
For centuries, the life of the Vietnamese has been closely connected to nature. Today you spend the day absorbing the culture of local farming and fishing. For sure, this day gifts you scenic panoramas, outstanding photo opportunities, as well as a close up to the everyday countryside life of local fishermen and farmer communities.
Together with your guide, you make your way to the Hoi An town of Viet Nam, where you enrich your experience by going cycling along country roads, passing rice fields, taking in the rural life of Vietnam, greeting the locals and maybe even spotting wildlife.
Later in the day, you board the Hoian Eco-tour boat for an insightful river cruise. Not only do you have the opportunity to meet the fishermen but you also even get to try your luck when learning traditional net fishing! One more unforgettable point of your tour is paddling the Vietnamese bamboo basket boat as you explore the coconut-palm flanked waterways.
After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the remaining part of the day free.

Day 7: Flight to Ho Chi Minh
Following breakfast and check-out, your driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Vietnam's modern metropolis Ho Chi Minh City, also known by its former name of Saigon.
Day 7: Arrival & City Tour
Upon arrival in the late morning, you enjoy an orientation tour of Ho Chi Minh City's bustling streets en route to the hotel.
You have some time for lunch before you begin your guided city tour. We advise tasting the traditional Vietnamese soup called "pho" and pork rolls as both dishes are considered Ho Chi Minh specialties.
During the tour, you get to visit such sites as the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Other places you see are the Notre Dame Cathedral, the City Post Office, and the Ben Thanh Market.
After the tour you arrive to a centrally-located hotel for check-in and have the remaining part of the day at leisure.
Day 8: Mekong Delta Day Trip
Following breakfast, get ready to spend the day away from the busy city of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh). Following breakfast, you meet your guide and driver and head for Ben Tre Province.
Upon arrival to the Hung Vuong Pier, you board a private boat and have a relaxing time taking in the fabulous delta scenery. As part of your exploration, you get to experience the Mekong Delta lifestyle by visiting local fruit orchards and coconut groves. Besides, you get to see brick workshops and home-made products such as coconut candies, rice cakes, handicrafts, etc.
To crown your day, you take a short walk and visit a local family. During your visit, the welcoming hosts show you how to make sedge mat. You also can enjoy a ride on Xe Loi, which is somewhat a rickshaw with a motor, to see panoramic villages.
After lunch in a riverside restaurant, you board a sampan oat boat for a relaxing trip along narrow canals. Afterward, you take a boat back to Ben Tre, followed by a car ride to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 9: Flight to Siem Reap
After a free morning you have a transfer to the airport for a regional flight to Siem Reap.
Day 9: Arrival to Siem Reap
Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to the ancient Angkor temples and gem of Cambodia!
Upon arrival, your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip or start your independent exploration.
Day 10: Sunrise at Angkor Wat & Other Temples
Prepare for a day of immersing in Cambodian historic legacy which makes you feel as though you've traveled back in time! Early in the morning you meet your guide and driver and have a 30-minute drive to magnificent Angkor Wat which you get to see in the first rays of sun at dawn.
Please, note: the tour starts at 5-5.30 am to avoid the heat of sunlight and the tourist crowds which often occur in the day time. Breakfast boxes are provided for this tour.
You begin your exploration with the marvelous Angkor Wat Temple, a noted UNESCO World Heritage Site. This religious complex, made up of several temples in honor of the Hindu God Vishnu, was built in the 12th century by the ruler Suryavarman II. Today you get to see the remnants of what was once a great civilization by visiting the biggest temple that can be found onsite. Interestingly, Angkor Wat is one of the largest religious complexes in the entire world, extending on a territory of over 200 sqm (2,153 sq ft)!
Next on your list is one more major attraction of the Siem Reap province, the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Your acquaintance with this historic and spiritual landmark begins with the South Gate, boasting adorned doors, stone figures and unique relics. While there, you also visit the temple of Bayon, the centrepiece of the city Angkor Thom. Dating back to the 12th century, this stone marvel is considered to be a sacred destination. It is believed to be a place where heaven and earth meet, and it was erected to honor a Buddhist king. You get to see the huge well-preserved carved stone faces on its exterior.
Among other places you see today at Angkor Thom are the famous terraces, including the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, as well as the pyramid-shaped temple called Ta Keo, translated as the Jewel of Crystal. You leave Angkor Thom via the North Gate, and make your way to the Preah Khan Temple, on the way you also see the Ta Prohm Temple.
After the 8-hour tour you return to the hotel.
Day 11: Tonle Sap Lake & Floating Villages
Following breakfast, you meet your guide and driver and take a 1-hour trip to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia. A guided boat trip uncovers Cambodian rural life in floating villages, that strongly depends on the seasonal floods.
After a half-day tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure. Alternatively, take an optional trip to a horse farm and enjoy horse riding.
Day 12: Departure
This is the final day of your amazing exploration of Vietnam and Cambodia! Following breakfast you check out from the hotel, and your driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home.
