Jerusalem, Israel

Mecca to thousands of believers around the globe, Jerusalem is rightfully one of the holiest destinations in the world. The city is home to such unmissable sights as the Western Wailing Wall, or Hakotel, the Tower of David Citadel, the old city walls, as well as the well-preserved old town....
  • Day By Day

    Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to Israel! Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver, who transfers you to your hotel in Jerusalem for the check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip. Alternatively, you can choose one of our carefully planned optional tours.

Day 2: City tour of New Jerusalem
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private guide and start a 4-hour walking tour to discover the top sights of the New City of Jerusalem called Nachalaot which is translated as "inheritances".

Here you get to know the cluster of neighbourhoods in the center of the city. Take a great chance to feel like a local and continue to the atmospheric Machaneh Yehudah Market which is the true heart of Jerusalem.

While discovering the market, you get acquainted with local culinary traditions and taste delicious olives, make a stop in the bakery of Hotchpuria, try legumes, casserole, pastries, halva, and organic tahini.

Following the tour you may continue exploring the city on your own or return to the hotel.

Day 3: Jerusalem and Bethlehem tour
After breakfast at the hotel, join a small group day tour devoted to the exploration of the city and a tour to Bethlehem.

Today, you see unmissable sites of interest, and start with the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Continue to Mount Zion, located on the southern end of the old city, and see the traditional sites of the Last Supper and visit King David's Tomb. In the Old city you start a walking tour of Jewish, Christian and Armenian Quarters. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. A must-see highlight of Jerusalem tour is a The Western Wall, one of the holiest Jewish sites.

Today you also visit Bethlehem - the biblical birthplace of Jesus and a major Christian pilgrimage destination. At the Palestinian border your change transportation and local guide takes you to Bethlehem. Together you visit the Church of Nativity, built over the cave venerated as Christ's birthplace in AD 339. After the visit, you drive through the city and get back to the Israel border to meet with your Jerusalem guide and driver.

After the tour you return to the hotel and rest of the day is at leisure.

Please note: make sure to have your passport with you for the Bethlehem tour.

Day 4: Day Tour to Nazareth and Galilee
Early in the morning join a small group tour and embark on an exciting 12-hour day trip to the incredible Christian site - the city of Nazareth, and a northern region called Galilee.

The first stop on your route is Nazareth where you visit the Catholic Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Then you drive by towns Cana and Tiberius, located on the shore of Galilee Sea, and arrive in Capernaum, also known as "the town of Jesus". Once abandoned and forgotten, this site was excavated in the 1900s and today you may visit the Jewish Synagogue.

Continue to the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves located at the foot of the Golan Heights and reach Yardenit, the famous Baptismal site where Jordan river flows out of the Sea of Galilee.

After the tour, you are taken back to your hotel in Jerusalem.

    Day 5: Day at Leisure
Today you have time to continue an exploration of the city on your own or take one of our carefully planned optional tours.

Day 6: Masada and Dead Sea Tour
After breakfast at the hotel embark on a small group 8-hour tour to the UNESCO-listed town of Masada, famous for its ancient fortifications, as well as enjoy the shores of the Dead Sea.

Upon arrival to Masada, you take a cable car to reach the hilltop isolated rock plateau above the Dead Sea. Masada was also home to the oldest synagogue in Israel, but one of the most remarkable features are the 12 water cisterns, each with a capacity of up to 140,000 cubic feet.

On the way back you have a stop at the Dead Sea resort for about 2 hours and have some time to relax and swim in the water. The Dead Sea is renown for its rejuvenating properties beneficial for health and you also have some time to visit a local factory store famous for its products containing mud, minerals, and salt from the Dead Sea.

After the tour you are taken back to Jerusalem.

Please note: Make sure to have bathing suits. Towels and lockers are available at the resort at an extra charge of 15-20$ (45-60 ILS). Showers, changing rooms and pools are included in the resort admission fee.

Day 7: Day Tour to Caesarea and Haifa
Early in the morning, join a small group and start a 12-hour day trip to the northern coastal towns of Caesarea, Haifa, and Acre.

The first town on the route is ancient Caesarea. Here you visit the Roman Theatre, which, apart from being a remarkable historical sight, often hosts concerts and an annual jazz festival. You also see Herod's Palace, the Baths and the Ancient Harbor.

On your way to Haifa, the largest city in northern Israel, you drive along the Carmel Mountains. The town is famous for Bahaian Terraced Gardens, designed around the tomb of the “Bab”, one of the leading figures in the Bahai faith.

Then you make your way to Israel’s port town of Acre (also called Akko). You visit the main point of interest there - the Rosh Hanikra limestone grottoes which form a geological white chalk cliff border of Israel and its neighbouring country, Lebanon. Among the day’s highlights is a ride on a cable car right down to the grottoes which can only be reached from the water side. This unique cable car is actually among the steepest ones on the planet and is surely a memorable experience to remember!

Following the tour, you are taken back to Jerusalem.

    Day 8: Departure
Following breakfast at the hotel and check-out you depart from Jerusalem.
