Welcome to Rome - one of the most charming and heritage rich cities of Italy. Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver, who transfers you to the Umbria countryside hotel.
Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to Perugia, the capital of Umbria!
You are met by your private driver, who transfers you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for your to explore the city.
Day 2: Exploration of Assisi and Gubbio
Following breakfast in your hotel, meet your private guide and driver to embark on a full day tour and explore Assisi and Gubbio.
You start with a tour of Assisi which is described as the cradle of Romanesque art and design. UNESCO-listed Basilica of San Francesco with traces of the most famous artists of the period and the other Franciscan Sites in Assisi definitely make you immerse into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.
On the way from Assisi to Gubbio your guide takes you to organic winery for a comprehensive lunch and tasting.
After lunch you continue to Gubbio which is set on the slope of Mt. Ingino. Beautiful Piazza Grande with the public palaces on it, Palazzo dei Consoli, a magnificent Gothic building completed around 1340, Palazzo del Podestà which holds the Town Hall and Ruins of Roman amphitheater are among the sights you see here.
Once the tour is finished you are taken back to the hotel in Umbria countryside.

Day 3: Perugia Tour and Truffle Hunting
Following breakfast in the hotel, meet your private guide and driver to have a 4-hour trip to Perugia.
Today your guide highlights the city tour with interesting facts as Perugia has a lot to offer. Upon arrival in the city, you take a walk along the streets dating back to the Etruscan age and witness remains of the original Etruscan city walls. Arrive at Piazza IV Novembre which is the oldest, and the main square in the old town. From here you easily reach the 13th century Fontana Maggiore, the Palazzo dei Priori, and city's cathedral built in the 15th century. Perugia is also famous for its University of Perugia, founded in 1308, and Ignazio Danti - mathematician and astronomer who changed the calendar from Julian to Gregorian.
After the tour you return to the hotel in the countryside to enjoy a special activity - truffle hunting!
Today you take a chance to find this rare delight in the Italian countryside. Here you spend about 2 hours with professional hunter and skilled dog. Afterward, you have a complete 4-course dinner with the truffles you have hunted during the tour

Day 4: Montefalco Farm Tour
Following breakfast in the hotel, meet your private guide and driver and embark on a full day to the farm in Montefalco.
Today you meet animals, notably various breeds of Italian cattle, sample cheeses and yogurt made from milk of cows, sheep, and goats.
During the day you also visit the beautiful hilltop village of Montefalco to see local producers and finally have a stop in a small farm just under the walls of the town. Here you learn about the biodiversity of the region and enjoy a light lunch at the farm.
After the tour you return to your countryside hotel.

Day 5: Departure to Castiglione D'Orcia
Following breakfast you have a check-out and meet the driver to continue the journey to Tuscany.
Day 5: Tour to a Cheese Farm and Montepulciano Winery
Before you arrive at the hotel for check-in you have an amazing experience as today you visit a Pecorino cheese farm.
Your driver takes you to Pienza, the area known for the wonderful Pecorino di Pienza cheese, which gets its name from the word pecora, Italian for "sheep". Here you dive into the everyday life on the farm, learn how a traditional cheese is made from the stable to the fermentation process. Your visit is also highlighted with a 4-course lunch paired with local wine.
Later you carry on to Montepulciano, a small village of Etruscan origin and one of the most beautiful hill towns in Tuscany. After some free time in the Montepulciano historical center, you visit a traditional vineyard and enjoy tasting one of the most famous Italian wines: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The Nobile wines of Montepulciano were the first to be given the ultimate quality level of DOCG certification.
In the late afternoon, you are transferred to your hotel in Tuscany.

Day 6: Cooking Class in a Local Farmhouse
Following breakfast in the hotel, you are picked up by your private driver to have a small group cooking class in a local farm restaurant. Here you learn how to cook a traditional Italian meal and about Italian dining traditions.
Your experience starts with picking up spices and vegetables and collecting eggs. After about 3 hours of the workshop, you enjoy a full Italian lunch which includes starters, home-made fresh pasta with sauce, the main course and a dessert. Later you have a private visit to an amazing winery located inside a historical castle.
At the winery you have a tour of the cellars, the vineyards, take in the gorgeous views and taste Brunello "Riserva" and also Rosso di Montalcino.
After the tour, you are transferred back to your hotel and have the evening on your own.

Day 7: Departure
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and meet your driver for a transfer to a Tuscan estate in Siena region.
Day 7: Day at Leisure
Upon arrival, you have a check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure.
Devote your day to a leisurely walk and activities offered in the estate.
Day 8: Pasta Factory and Oil Mill Tour
Following breakfast in the hotel, meet your guide and driver to start an exploration of two very symbolic specialties of Italy: extra virgin olive oil and pasta! Today you get to visit probably one of the most enchanting villages of Tuscany where you step in the original pasta factory.
Following a tour of the factory, you visit the medieval castle and start a tour of the traditional oil mill. Here you can taste the best extra virgin olive oil. During the day you also enjoy a light lunch and visit a butcher shop to sample cold meats.

Day 9: San Miniato Wine Trail
Following breakfast in the hotel, meet your guide and driver and start a full day tour to local wineries.
Today you travel to the area of San Miniato where you visit a biodynamic winery and small family-run winery, famous for very original wines. After the tour, you have time for lunch on a panoramic terrace with a spectacular view of the vineyards.

Day 10: Departure
This is the last day of your amazing tour to Umbria and Tuscany! After breakfast you are met at your hotel by your driver and taken to Pisa or Florence.

To book, all you need to do is to make a deposit of 20% of trip price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change. Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.
Can I modify my trip after I booked
Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
