Arrival
Welcome to the fabulous capital of Norway - Oslo! Your private driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your centrally located hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

Activity recommendation: take a trip to Grefsenkollen that provides great views over the city, fjord, Holmenkollen, and surrounding forest. Upon arrival, take a short hike further north to Trollvann lake and enjoy a wonderful sunset over Oslo. *Grefsenkollen can be reached by bus, tram or metro.

Oslo Sightseeing & Hike in Oslomarka Forest
After breakfast you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and go on a 7-hour guided hike of the marvelous Norwegian capital and its surroundings. 

You start from walking through the city center and seeing its main attractions: old town, Akershus Fortress, Royal Palace. Then you take the metro up to Frognerseteren neighbourhood that offers wonderful views over the city. From there you go on a hike in Oslomarka, called "forest of the North", to enjoy its untouched nature and magical landscapes.

Hiking is a much beloved national pastime for the vast majority of the population in Norway. To make your hiking experience truly-authentic, we offer you a typical Norwegian packed lunch consisted of Norwegian flat bread with Norwegian cheese, sausages with lompe bread and Norwegian chocolate.  

The hike ends at Songsvann Lake from where you take the metro back to the city centre. 

Hiking distance is approximately 10.5 km (6.5 mi), difference in altItude is about 400 m (1,312 ft).

*Please, note: rainproof walking shoes / trainers and clothes suitable for the outdoors are required for this tour and for all the other hiking tours. No hiking experience needed, though a reasonable physical level is required for the uphill hiking.

Train Trip to Flam
Following breakfast you check out from your hotel and walk to the train station (easily accessible by foot).

Upon arrival you walk to your hotel and have the rest of the day free. 
 

RIB-boat Ride to the Fjords & Hike to a Goatfarm
In the morning you meet your guide and embark on a 5.5-hour group tour that combines main attractions of the area, from fjords to the mountain and a traditional farm.

You start from a RIB-boat tour on the Aurlandsfjord, one of the most picturesque fjords in the world. Upon arrival to the great Sagfossen waterfall, you go ashore at Skjerdal wharf and start a nature-trail hike uphill. During that time you ascend the valley going up to 400 meters (1,312 ft) in altitude. The 1.5-hour hike route offers unforgettable views over forest, fjords and waterfalls. 

Finally you reach a goat cheese farm in the Aurlandsfjord. Here you have a guided tour by the hostess and learn some secrets behind the traditional goat cheese making. Then you enjoy cheese tasting and lunch made of local products. 

Following lunch, you hike back down to Skjerdal and return to Flam by minibus.

Boat Ride to Balestrand
After breakfast you check out from your hotel and have the rest of the morning free to spend at your leisure or join our carefully-prepared optional tour.

Optional tour: Old King Path Kayaking, Flam
This is a sea kayak tour and short hike combined, the ideal way to experience the Fjords of Norway. You paddle to Fronneset, a place of historical importance from the viking era.

In the afternoon walk to the pier to enjoy an express boat ride to the charming town of Balestrand that is set in a truly magical location nearby Norway's largest fjord - Sognefjord.

Note: Express boat operates from May till September  

Arrival
Upon arrival, you have the rest of the day free to explore the village by yourself and enjoy its unique atmosphere of silence, relaxation and luxury. 

Activity recommendation: we advise you to go on a self-guided hike to start exploring the great outdoors. You can take a Kreklingen Nature Trail that provides a fine view of Balestrand or take a hiking trail on Gaularfjellet that takes you past 14 waterfalls and seven mountain lakes.

Mountain Hike in Balestrand
Following breakfast you meet your experienced guide and together you go on a 4-hour hike. 

Balestrand is a traditional tourist resort famous for its magnificent mountain scenery, pure clean air and peaceful surroundings. Well-marked and maintained trails around Balestrand can easily be reached from the town and attract tourists from all over the world. 

Your hike route provides breathtaking views of the little town and across the fjords, even to the parts of the fjord that you can not see from Balestrand. 

The highest point you reach today is a lookout at Buraasi which is 575 meters (1,886 ft) high, and your route back down goes via Fjærestadstølen which is 430 meters (1,411 ft) above sea level.

After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy Balestrand on your own.

Boat Ride to Bergen
Early in the morning you check out from your hotel and walk to the pier (easily accessible by foot) to enjoy a 4-hour boat trip to Bergen.

Note: Express boat operates from May till September  

Arrival
Upon arrival you walk to your hotel located very close to the boat station. The rest of the day is free to have rest or to take an optional hiking tour.

Optional tour: self-guided hike at Mt Ulriken
You take a bus from the city centre and then a cable car up to Mt Ulriken (643 m or 2,110 ft high). You start walking to “Turnerhytten” on one path and return on a different route, where you also pass several ruins of old cabins. The hike is around 4.5 km (2.8 miles) and takes approx. 2.5 hours to walk. This is a self-guided hike, which means that you are provided with an app that gives you the route and information about the places you visit along the trail. Transport from and to the city centre, cable car to Mt Ulriken and packed lunch made for you at Mt Ulriken included.

Bergen Sightseeing & Fløyen Mount Hike
Following breakfast at your hotel, you meet your private guide in the hotel lobby and enjoy a 5-hour hike around the most interesting sights of Bergen and its surroundings. 

During the tour you take a walk at the famous Bryggen district, visit the Fish Market and experience a fantastic journey with Bergen Flöibanen Mountain Train. 

Bergen’s Floibanen funicular is one of Norway's best-known attractions. You spend about 10 minutes to walk to the lower station where the cruise ships dock along Bryggen. The journey up to Floyen located 320 meters (1,050 ft) above sea level takes only 5-8 minutes. It is an experience in itself, but when you appear at the top you will be amazed by the fantastic views over Bergen.

After the ride you go hiking down the picturesque Mount Floyen to enjoy fantastic scenery once again.

The rest of the day is free for you to do some independent sightseeing, dine in one of the local restaurants or just take a leisurely walk around the city.

Departure
This is the last day of your amazing hike adventure to Norway! After breakfast you are transferred to the Bergen airport for your flight back home.
