Day 1: Arrival in Moscow
Welcome to the capital of Russia - the magnificent Moscow! Upon arrival, you have a transfer to the deluxe MS Volga Dream.
Day 2: Moscow City Tour
Following breakfast, you meet your guide and start today's program with an orientation tour around the most famous Moscow attractions.
Visit the magnificent Red Square and see its famous landmarks: Lenin's Tomb and St. Basil's Cathedral, drive by the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, one of Russia's most important cathedrals, completely destroyed in Stalin's time and restored in 1990. Then we head for the famous Novodevichi Cemetery, where many noted Russian authors, musicians, playwrights, and poets are buried along with famous actors, political leaders, and scientists.
After lunch in a local restaurant, you visit the Old Tretyakov gallery to view its extraordinary collection of Russian art, ranging from XIX-century icons to XX-century masterpieces. Explore Moscow’s Metro, famed for its architectural splendor.
Day 3: Visiting the Kremlin & Armoury Chamber
Following breakfast meet your guide and devote the day to the exploration of a real Russian miracle and its most famous symbol - the mighty Kremlin.
Today you go on a guided tour of this historical fortress, that includes a visit to its wonderful Armoury Chamber that houses a unique collection of crown jewels, stunning coronation finery, hand-forged armor and weapons, royal carriages and sleighs, and world-famous Faberge eggs. You finish your Kremlin tour with a visit to the famous Square of Four Cathedrals, where you go inside the gorgeous 15th-century Assumption and Archangel Cathedrals decorated with magnificent frescoes.
Then, transfer to the MS Volga Dream and enjoy a delicious buffet dinner as your breath-taking cruise along Russia’s Waterways begins. The evening provides a chance to meet your crew and fellow travelers at Captain's welcome reception and dinner.
Day 4: Exploring Uglich Highlights
Today you arrive to the small town of Uglich, where a historically significant political turmoil known as the Times of Trouble started.
During the walking city tour you visit the famous Church of St. Dmitry-on-the-Blood, built on the site where Ivan the Terrible's son, Dmitry, was murdered in 1591, and attend a fascinating concert of choral music in the St. John’s Church.
After the tour you return on board and continue cruising. This day entertainment program includes Russian cooking class.
Day 5: Yaroslavl Sightseeing Tour
Today you explore one of the oldest Russian cities and the gem of the Volga River - Yaroslavl.
During your guided city tour you explore the Spassky Monastery where you see the icon Transfiguration of the Savior, visit the wonderful Church of Elijah the Prophet with incredible mosaic decoration and participate in a costumed reception at the governor's house.
After the tour you return on board and continue cruising. This day entertainment program includes Costumed Russian tea ceremony.
Day 6: Nizhny Novgorod City Tour
Today you arrive in Nizhny Novgorod, once a wealthy commercial center nestled on the important trade routes to the East. During the city tour you walk the ramparts of the spectacular 16th-century Kremlin and visit lavishly-decorated churches.
As a highlight of the day in the evening, you attend a folk concert presented by a local children group.
After the tour you return on board and continue cruising. This day entertainment program includes Russian dinner and Vodka tasting.
Day 7 : Exploring Kazan Heritage
Today you arrive in Kazan - the beautiful capital of the Republic of Tatarstan and the center of Tatar culture in Russia.
During your guided tour you visit the white-walled Kazan Kremlin where you see the famous Qol Sharif Mosque and the old Peter and Paul Cathedral. Later this day you enjoy a music concert by a local Tatar folk group.
After the tour you return on board and continue cruising. This day's entertainment program includes the piano concert consisting of pieces by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.
Day 8: Samara City Tour
Relax on the Sun Deck as you sail past the Zhigulevskie mountains, as today you arrive in Samara and enjoy a guided city tour, which includes a visit to the Space Museum and the walk along the beautiful Volga River embankment to the Samara State Art Museum.
After the tour, you return on board and enjoy a barbecue on the open deck.
Day 9: Visiting Radishev State Art Museum in Saratov
Today you arrive in Saratov that is mostly famous for its connection to Yuri Gagarin, the Russia's first cosmonaut, who lived and studied in this city. The highlight of Saratov guided city tour is a visit to the Radishev State Art Museum - the first Russian picture gallery outside of St. Petersburg and Moscow.
After the tour you return on board and continue cruising.
Day 10: Tour of Mamyev Hill & Stalingrad Battle Panorama Museum in Volgograd
Today you arrive in the historically important city of Volgograd famous for the decisive battle of Stalingrad held there during the World War II.
Day 11: Departure
This is the last day of your cruise along Volga river. Following breakfast, you have a transfer to the airport.

How to book
To book, all you need to do is to make a deposit of 20% of trip price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change. Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.
Can I modify my trip after I booked
Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
