Moreover, a whole country, Vatican, is set right in the beating heart of Rome!...
  • Day By Day

You see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as witness the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini and visit famous Pantheon.

After the tour, your guide takes you back to the hotel and you have the evening at leisure.

    Day 9: Discovering Ancient Rome
In the morning after breakfast you meet your guide to discover the famous ancient treasures of the Eternal City on a walking tour.

Your first stop today is the iconic Roman Forum, situated on low ground between the Palatine and Capitoline hills, it was the key political, ritual, and civic center of ancient Rome and can be traced 3 thousand years back. Today you can see columns and remains of ancient temples, archs and buildings, such as the Temple of Caesar and the Arch of Septimius Severus, as well as the adjacent Palatine Hill, which was the site of the city’s first settlements.

The next place you discover today is Rome's hallmark site - the Colosseum. Originally known by the name of Flavius amphitheatre, it was the biggest and most imposing building of its kind in the Roman world, designed as an arena for the fights of Roman gladiators and could hold up to 70 thousand spectators.

After the tour, your guide takes you back to the hotel and you have the evening at leisure.

    Day 10: Vatican Sightseeing
In the morning after breakfast you meet your guide and have a transfer to the walled enclave and the world’s smallest independent state - Vatican*.

When inside the Vatican, you visit private apartments of Julius II, Pinecone Courtyard, Gallery of the Maps, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of Candelabra.

Next, you proceed to the Sistine Chapel, where you have enough time to admire Michelangelo's famous frescoes and learn about the intense relationship between Pope Julius II and Michelangelo that drove the artist to create the greatest work of art the world has ever known.

After a coffee break, your tour continues in the vast open spaces of St. Peter’s Basilica where you see a stunning Pieta - a world-famous work of Renaissance sculpture by Michelangelo, and Bernini's impressive Papal Canopy, a legacy left to the Basilica by the Barberini family.

The ending point of your tour is St. Peter’s Square, where you can admire Michelangelo's Dome and the gorgeous colonnades designed by Bernini.

After the tour of the Vatican, you enjoy a leisurely walk to the hotel with your guide and have a photo stop at the legendary Castel Sant'Angelo, built originally as a mausoleum, and then used by the popes as a fortress, refuge and a prison.

Upon your return to the hotel, you have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the beauty of Rome on your own.

*Please note: the Vatican is a sacred religious site thus the dress code for visiting it is applied just as when you visit any church in Italy: no shorts – no uncovered knees and shoulders, no backpacks. Speaking of the best spots to start your Palermo exploration, discover the exceptional beauty of the Palermo Cathedral, proceeding to the former residence of the Sicilian kings, the 9th-century Norman Palace, and the historic Duomo di Monreale. Plus make sure to add on one of the largest opera theaters in Europe, Massimo Theater, a couple of Palermo museums, and the most ancient city market, La Vucciria, to get the real essence of the passionate sun-kissed Italian south. Agrigento, Italy

A mere mention of captivating Agrigento inspires and summons the images of the warm Italian sea embracing the shores and colorful houses lining the winding Sicilian streets. However, Agrigento is not a simple resort with wonderful beaches, top-notch hotels, countless trattorias, and cozy bars, it's more about the glorious ancient history incorporated in the exceptional natural surroundings. The main reason why people add Agrigento to their travel map is the desire to touch the living history, enshrined in the historic UNESCO-listed Valley of the Temples, one of the best examples of Doric-style Greek architecture. In case you prefer getting inspiration from nature, it is highly recommended to take a trip to the Scala dei Turchi cliffs, a spectacular natural formation with an unusual form of a white staircase. The charms of Agrigento are, indeed, catching, considering the fact that it is the oldest hub on the territory of Sicily which just can't leave anyone indifferent!...

Day 13: Arrival and Cooking Class
Upon arrival in the hotel, you have a check-in, and in the late afternoon, we invite you to a private cooking class.

Together with the chef, you start a 2.5-hour workshop where you get acquainted with some typical Sicilian dishes. Today you are fully involved in the process and, in the end, you have a perfect setting for your dinner. Enjoy your freshly cooked meal paired with Sicilian wine!

After dinner, you have the evening at leisure.

Day 14: Valley of the Temples & Scala dei Turchi Cliffs
Today after a delicious breakfast at the hotel you spend the day with your guide exploring famous Agrigento sights and its surroundings.

Your tour begins with one of the two highlights of the city - the splendid Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You then continue to the near-intact Temple of Concord, the best-preserved temple in the world and one of the symbols of Sicily.

In the second part of the tour, you enjoy a trip to the seaside to see the famous Scala dei Turchi Cliffs. The dazzling chalky white rocky cliff eroded conveniently into stairs rises 50 meters above sea level. This natural phenomenon so-called "Stairs of the Turks" allows for easy walking. Its gleaming color is eye-catching enough, but what makes it even more remarkable is that it looks like a staircase carved by man even though its shape is entirely natural.

After the tour, you are taken back to the hotel or you may take carefully planned optional tours like the City Tour of Agrigento, or a Coastal Tour with a private guide who introduces you to the history, myths, legends, and local traditions.

In the evening you enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant.
