Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival, you have a transfer to the centrally located hotel.
The rest of the day is free to start exploring Stockholm attractions on your own, dine in a local restaurant or take a good rest in your comfortable room.
Day 2: Stockholm City Tour with Vasa Museum
After breakfast, you meet your guide and enjoy a 4-hour city tour around the most interesting attractions of Stockholm.
During the tour with a private guide you see the City Hall, explore the brilliant Old Town of Stockholm, that is one of the biggest and most well-preserved medieval Old Towns in Europe. Together you continue the tour to see the famous Royal Palace and the Stockholm Cathedral.
Following a short ferry ride, you take a chance to explore a world-famous museum - the Vasa Museum located on the island of Djurgården. It displays the only almost fully intact 17th-century ship that sank on its maiden voyage. It is rated as the most visited museum in entire Scandinavia.
After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore Stockholm on your own or enjoy one of our optional evening recommendations.

Day 3: Flight to Kiruna
After breakfast you are transferred to the airport for a quick flight to Kiruna.
Day 3: Arrival
Upon arrival you have a private transfer to the original Ice Hotel - the world’s first and largest hotel built entirely of snow and ice.
Note: Warm accommodation in a traditional hotel is available on request.
The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can enjoy the surrounding nature on your own, spend this evening relaxing at the sauna or even practice in ice sculpting.
Day 4: Train Ride to Lulea
After breakfast you have some free time to enjoy the surrounding nature of Kiruna on your own. In the afternoon you check out and have a departure transfer.
Day 4: Arrival to Lulea & Harads Village Tour
Upon arrival to Lulea, your private driver takes you to the charming village of Harads to leave your luggage at your unique Tree Hotel nestled in the middle of the forest.
You're then invited to enjoy a walking tour around the village. After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.
Day 5: Transfer to Rovaniemi
After breakfast you check out from your hotel and continue your journey to Rovaniemi.
Day 5: Arrival & Free Evening
Welcome to to the Motherland of Santa Claus - Rovaniemi!
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel in the city center and have the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6: Snowmobile Safari to Reindeer Farm and Husky Park & Santa Claus Village
Today you enjoy a fantastic group tour during which you visit famous Lapland sights and try exciting northern activities.
This day starts with a 1-hour snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm where you meet traditionally dressed people, learn more about reindeer husbandry and Lappish culture and enjoy a short introductory reindeer sleigh and husky ride.
Please, note: In order to drive a snowmobile please make sure to have your driver licence with you.
Due to unsuitable weather conditions (e.g. there is no snow or it is raining), a snowmobile ride and reindeer sleigh will be replaced with a visit to the Arktikum Museum.
After the farm you continue your trip to Santa Claus Village where you have some time to visit the Snowman World and attend a real ice bar in it. You can also buy some traditional Finnish souvenirs and send postcards with special Arctic Circle stamp from Santa Claus main post office.
Please, note: Snowman World is open from beginning of December to end of March.
After the tour you are transferred back to the hotel.
Day 7: Transfer to the Igloo Village
Following breakfast you check out from your hotel and your driver takes you to the igloo village located away from the city lights.
Day 7: Arrival
You arrive to the glass igloos village located close to the Arctic Circle. The unique accommodation allows watching the Northern Lights and starry skies in warmth and comfort.
After check-in, you are welcomed to enjoy the Nordic beauty of the surrounding area on your own.
Please note: the indicated glass igloo accommodation is an example of the properties used for our tours, and might be updated to similar glass igloo properties based on availability.
Day 8: Transfer to Inari
After breakfast, you check out from your hotel and continue your journey to new adventures.
Day 8: Visiting the Sami Museum & a Local Sami Family
Welcome to Inari - the authentic Inari region known as the center of Sami culture.
Upon arrival, you leave your luggage at your centrally located hotel and have a 1-hour guided tour at the Sami Museum and Nature Center that provides you with a deep insight into the culture, traditions, and nature of Northern Lapland. You then have two additional hours to explore this museum on your own.
In the afternoon your driver picks you up at the Sami Museum and transfers you to a remote location by Lake Muddus where you have a group visit to a local Sami Family. In 3 hours you are introduced to its reindeer herd, that you can pet and feed, while the hostess tells you about the importance of reindeer for Sami people. In the warmth of their house, you find out about the fascinating process of creating traditional Sami fur boots of reindeer hide and learn what life is really like in the far north.
Note: Group visit to a local Sami Family is availale on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
After this exotic experience you return to your hotel for check-in and have the rest of the day free.

Day 9: Flight to Helsinki
This is the final day of your amazing Great Lapland adventure! After breakfast you are transferred to the Ivalo airport for your flight to Helsinki.
Day 9: Departure
You have a flight back home from Helsinki airport.
