GermanyDay 1: Arrival
Welcome to the magnificent capital of Bavaria! Upon arrival, you meet your driver and head for your centrally-located hotel. After check-in the rest of the evening is free for you to enjoy Munich on your own.
Day 2: Munich City Tour with Visit to Christmas Market
After breakfast, you meet your private guide and go on a fascinating 4-hour tour of Munich's beautiful old town to get an insight into the city's turbulent 850-year history.
With its exuberant atmosphere and vitality, Munich is one of Europe's great cultural centers. Munich’s elegant Maximilian Street offers views at the Bavarian Parliament, Deutsches Museum, Royal Palace and the Opera House. In the ancient part of the town the world-famous Hofbrauhaus, the medieval town gates, and the colorful open-air market Viktualienmarkt are waiting for you. You also pass by Theatiner Church, Hall of Generals (Feldherrnhalle), and House of Arts, the Bavarian National Museum and the Angel of Peace.
The special part of your tour is a visit to the heart of the city - Marienplatz (St. Mary's Square) where the traditional Christmas Market is annually held. It is believed that the roots of the market go back into the 14th century. Here you will find all the classical attributes of the main winter holiday such as handmade souvenirs, delightful snacks, and an enormous Christmas tree. A guided visit to the main Christmas Market in Bavaria is a great way to hear local fairy tales, customs, and traditions and finally get closer to the rich Bavarian culture!
After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.
Please note: the Christmas Market on Marienplatz is open from November 27 to December 24.
Evening recommendations: travel through Munich on a Christmas Tram or take advantage of winter season and try winter outdoor activities & sports like sledding or skiing in Munich Olympic Park.
Day 3: Departure
After breakfast and check-out from the Munich hotel and walk to the train station to take a 2-hour train to Salzburg.
Please note: you may extend your stay in Munich and set off on a day-trip to explore the magnificent Neuschwanstein Castle. Contact your travel specialist for the details.
AustriaDay 3: Evening Concert
Upon arrival, you have a transfer to your centrally located hotel, check-in and have some rest.
In the evening you head to the historically significant concert hall at Mirabell Palace to enjoy a glorious classical concert. After the concert, you return back to your hotel.
Day 4: Christmas Salzburg and Salzkammergut Lake Region
Following breakfast, you meet your private guide-driver and embark on an exciting tour of Salzburg and the Lake Region.
You discover the UNESCO-listed Historic Centre of the City of Salzburg with its medieval fortress, baroque palaces, and churches. You see the Getreidegasse and Mozart’s birthplace, pass by the Festival Houses where the Salzburg Festival is held every year, stroll along the narrow streets and enjoy the flair of this old city.
Part of the tour is dedicated to Salzburg Christmas markets, including the one set in the very heart of Salzburg’s Old Town. Here you learn why Salzburg Christkindlmarkt, with its 6-century history, is a truly unique place to immerse yourself into the atmosphere of winter celebrations. For example, did you know that the most famous Christmas carol of all times "Silent Night, Holy Night" traces its roots to Salzburg?
You then drive out of the Salzburg city center to see some of the remarkable sights, such as the magnificent Hellbrunn Palace, the famous "Mozart view", and the traditional village of St. Gilgen. Your tour program also includes the filming locations of the popular "Sound of Music" movie, such as the Palace of Leopoldskron and the parish church of Mondsee used in the movie as the wedding church. As a highlight, you drive through the picturesque countryside called "Salzkammergut" which is especially beautiful in winter time.
On the way back you may also stop at Castle Fuschl and at the village of St. Wolfgang. After the tour, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 5: Train to Vienna
Today after breakfast you check out from your Salzburg hotel and have a transfer to the train station for your train to Vienna.

Upon arrival to the European capital of music, your private driver picks you up at the station and transfers to the hotel in the very heart of Vienna. The rest of the day is free for you to either relax or start exploring glorious Vienna on your own.
Evening recommendations: attend Strauss & Mozart Concert at Kursalon Vienna, learn to cook Austrian Christmas cookies on a cooking master class or simply warm up with a traditional hot chocolate at one of the cozy cafes in the city center.
Day 6: Christmas Vienna Sightseeing
Following breakfast at the hotel, your guide takes you on a 4-hour walking tour through the downtown area of Vienna.
You start at the State Opera House and walk through the Kärntnerstrasse, a shopping street in the pedestrian zone of the city center, to St. Stephen's Cathedral. You continue your walk along the Graben and the Kohlmarkt, a very exquisite shopping area, to the Imperial Palace Hofburg, the former winter residence of the Habsburgs. It now houses the Imperial Apartments, Sisi Museum, Imperial Silver Chamber, Austrian National Library and much more.
Next on your list is Ring Avenue with its numerous magnificent buildings, such as the Museums of Fine Art and National History, the Parliament and the Burgtheater, to name a few. During the tour, you also see Neuer Markt and the Capuchin monastery.
Then you see the Neo-Gothic City Hall and the Viennese Christmas Market set on a square in front of it. During Advent season the City Hall Square is beautifully turned into a magical place with Christmas decorations, illumination, crafts and delicacies. On Saturdays and Sundays, you have a chance here to listen to choirs singing famous carols. As a special treat, you taste traditional Christmas delicacies - classic mulled wine and a ginger cake.
After the tour you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Day 7: Train to Prague
Today after breakfast you check out from your Vienna hotel and meet your private driver at the hotel lobby. Then you are transferred to the station to take a train to Prague.

Welcome to the fairy-tale capital of the Czech Republic - Prague!
Upon arrival, you are transferred to your neat Prague hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 8: Prague City Tour & Christmas Market
Prague is always ranked as one of the most romantic cities, though Advent brings a special charm to its Old Town dressed in Christmas colors. Following breakfast, you embark on a 4-hour voyage of discovery with your guide.
You start walking the famous Royal Route, originally used for the king's coronation procession, and see the Municipal House, the Gothic Tyn Cathedral, the Cubist House at the Black Madonna, and the Old Town Hall tower with its legendary Astronomical Clock. During Advent season the Old Town Square, set in front of the town hall, hosts the main Christmas Market in the Czech Republic. Here you have time to stroll between shopping arcades, taste gastronomical specialties from Old Czech cuisine and get a bit closer to local culture.
Then you explore Parizska Street modeled after a Parisian boulevard, the Josefov area - the former Jewish ghetto, the Rudolfinum concert hall, and the famous Charles Bridge with the splendid Prague Castle (no entrance included). Fees for public transport to travel between the sites with your guide are included.
After the tour, you return to your hotel. You have the evening free to enjoy Prague.
Please note: the Christmas Market at the Old Town Square is open from December 1, 2018 to January 6, 2019.
Evening recommendations: practice ice skating at Ovocny Trh, take a relaxing cruise on a Vltava River or attend an organ concert at the Church Of St. Salvator.
Day 9: Departure
This is the last day of your Christmas Adventure. Following breakfast, you check out, and your private driver transfers you to the airport. We wish you a safe flight and wish to work on your future trips!

How to book
To book, all you need to do is to make a deposit of 20% of trip price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change. Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.
Can I modify my trip after I booked
Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
