Cradle of the Renaissance, Florence, is among the most outstanding cities in Italy, rich in historic architecture and some the world's finest museums. When visiting Florence, make sure to save enough time to view not only the symbol of the city, the red-domed Florence Cathedral, and but also visit outstanding galleries. As such, the iconic Uffizi Gallery, the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, and the Galleria dell'Accademia, home to Michelangelo's masterpiece "David", are must-visit sites....
  • Day By Day

    Day 1: Arrival in Florence
    Welcome to Florence! Upon arrival, your private driver transfers you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip.

    Day 2: Florence Sightseeing 
    After breakfast in your hotel, meet with your private guide and go on a comprehensive walking tour of Florence's highlights.

    Today's program includes exploration of the Piazza del Duomo with a visit to the Baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist.

    Your ticket to the Grande Museo del Duomo allows you to visit the other magnificent monuments of Piazza del Duomo in your free time within 72 hours: the Cathedral itself, the Dome and its famous Bell Tower.

    As you proceed to the main square of the city - Piazza della Repubblica - you pass by the touristic area of the Strozzi Palace a bustling shopping street, via Tornabuoni.

    Then you enter in Oltrarno where you see numerous local craftsmen shops and beautiful Santo Spirito Church and Convent, built for the Agostinian monks. In this very part of the city you can find the first official work of Michelangelo dating back to the age when he was 17 years old.

    We also visit the Galleria dell'Accademia to see the famous Michelangelo's statue David as well before ending the tour on the Ponte Vecchio.

    After the tour you return to your hotel and enjoy evening at your own leisure.

    Day 3: Day at Leisure in Florence & Departure
    Today is reserved for you to explore and enjoy Florence on your own. After breakfast you can do some independent sightseeing, shop for souvenirs or have a good rest. We suggest visiting the Uffizi Gallery, the Pitti Palace or joining one of our carefully planned optional tours.

    In the afternoon you check out and meet your private driver for the transfer.

    Day 3: Arrival and Tour
    Upon arrival to La Spezia walk to your hotel.

    In the hotel lobby meet your guide and embark on a fascinating full day-trip along Cinque Terre to visit the most remarkable little towns.

    You take the train from La Spezia and in twenty minutes you arrive at the coastal village Vernazza. Here you see a natural pier with an amphitheater shape making it perhaps the most picturesque village of the Cinque Terre. Vernazza was a Roman installation and had big strategic importance during the age of the Maritime Republics of Genoa. It was also famous for its carpenters.

    Then you continue your travel by ferry to the village surrounded by wineries - to Manarola. This village may be the oldest one in the Cinque Terre with a Church of San Lorenzo dating back to 1338. After the tour, you travel back to La Spezia hotel and have the rest of the evening at your own leisure.

    The ferries between the villages are available From April 20th till November 1st. If weather is not permitting tourists have the whole trip with trains.

    Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and depart from La Spezia.

    Day 5: Highlights of Rome & Colosseum 
    Today you meet your private guide in the hotel lobby and embark on a tour to discover the famous ancient treasures of the Eternal City.

    You have a taxi transfer to Rome's hallmark site - the Colosseum. Originally known by the name of Flavius amphitheater, it was the biggest and most imposing building of its kind in the Roman world, designed as an arena for the fights of Roman gladiators and could hold up to 70 thousand spectators.

    After touring Colosseum you proceed with a walking city tour to see the most famous attractions and hidden treasures of the Eternal City. You see the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as witness the masterpieces by Bernini, Borromini, and many others.

    After the tour, your guide takes you back to the hotel and you have the evening at leisure.

    Day 6: Vatican Sightseeing 
    In the morning after breakfast, you meet your guide and walk to a walled enclave and the world’s smallest independent state - Vatican*.

    When inside the Vatican, you visit private apartments of Julius II, Pinecone Courtyard, Gallery of the Maps, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of Candelabra. Next, you proceed to the Sistine Chapel, where you have enough time to admire Michelangelo's famous frescoes and learn about the intense relationship between Pope Julius II and Michelangelo that drove the artist to create the greatest work of art the world has ever known.

    Your tour continues in the vast open spaces of St. Peter’s Basilica where you see a stunning Pieta - a world-famous work of Renaissance sculpture by Michelangelo, and Bernini's impressive Papal Canopy, a legacy left to the Basilica by the Barberini family.

    The ending point of your tour is in St. Peter’s Square, where you can admire Michelangelo's Dome and the gorgeous colonnades designed by Bernini.

What is an itinerary

This is a trip planner, which allows you to design your trip as you want it. You can add destinations, edit the number of days at each destination, move things around. You can choose what to include in the program from our inventory or you can add your own reservations. It’s up to you!

What’s included and what’s not

Everything that is listed in the itinerary is included. You are welcome to choose which services you want to book with us and which services you will book yourself. The total price on the itinerary will show the price of all services that you added from our inventory. The price of services that you are arranging somewhere else is not included in the total.

Flights and transportation

International flights are not included, but all transportation between destinations on the itinerary is included if you have selected our transport connections. For example, if you see a train connection on the itinerary it is included in the price. In general, everything you see on the itinerary is included in the price (unless you added your own inventory).

Hotels

If you selected our hotels, they are included. In the case of experiences, there are free and paid experiences. When adding experiences to the program, you decide what to add, simply tickets or a professional guide. You can also create your own list of top things to do and do them on your own.

How to book

When you have finished putting together your perfect trip, you can click the Book button on top of the page, and complete your booking. Depending on how far in advance you are booking, we will ask you to pay a deposit or full payment.

How to change your plans after booking

If you would like to modify your itinerary after you booked it, you will need to clone it (click button clone) and ask us to transfer your balance to the new itinerary. Please note, there is a cut-off period for modifications, which for most destinations is 30 days before the beginning of the trip. If there are supplier cancelation fees arising from your modifications, we will do our best to minimize them, but ultimately you will be responsible for paying them.
