Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to the glorious capital of Russia - Moscow! Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your centrally located hotel for check-in.
The rest of the day is free so that you could relax in your cozy room after the flight or start exploring the charming city center on your own. In the evening you enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel, where you can meet your fellow travelers and discuss the fantastic journey that awaits you ahead.
Day 2: Exploring the Kremlin, Armoury Chamber & the Heart of Moscow
This morning is devoted to the exploration of a real Russian miracle and its most famous symbol - the mighty Kremlin. Following breakfast, you go on a guided tour of this historical fortress, that includes a visit to its wonderful Armoury Chamber that houses a unique collection of crown jewels, stunning coronation finery, hand-forged armor and weapons, royal carriages and sleighs, and world-famous Fabergé eggs.
Later you enjoy a leisurely walk through the beautiful Red Square, take a photo stop near the colorful St.Basil's Cathedral and see the largest Moscow department store GUM.
- Optional tours: Visit the Tretyakov Gallery or the Space Museum.
After the tour you are transferred to the railway station where you board your luxurious Golden Eagle train and start your one-of-a-kind adventure to Vladivostok.

After the tour, you are taken to the Golden Eagle train and start your amazing journey!
Day 3: Kazan City Tour
Situated on the River Volga, the picturesque and historic city of Kazan is the capital of Tatarstan. Here we have the opportunity to see for ourselves its rich tapestry of history and culture. One of the highlights of this city tour is our exploration of the Kremlin Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Within the walls of this ancient citadel, we will explore the stunning mosque and picture-perfect onion-domed cathedral.
As Kazan is the birthplace of one of Russia’s most famous opera singers, Feodor Chaliapin (1873-1938), we honour his memory with a private concert of his music. You will also have time to wander through the main pedestrian area of Kazan and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the city.
Day 4: Ekaterinburg City Tour
Today your train arrives in the famous capital of Ural where Europe and Asia meet - Ekaterinburg.
Upon arrival, you have a guided city tour dedicated to the last days of the Russian Imperial Family. During the tour, you visit the Cathedral-on-the-Blood built on the site of the notorious Ipatiev House where the last Russian Emperor, Nicolas II, and his family were assassinated.
Then you are transferred to the obelisk marking the geographical border and can drink a glass of champagne with one foot in Europe and the other in Asia.

After the tour, you return on board your train and continue traveling.
Day 5: Novosibirsk City Tour
Today you reach a region with great history and unique Siberian style and nature. Your train arrives in Novosibirsk - a city that proves that Siberia may be distant, but is certainly not desolate.
During your city tour you see a central Lenin Square with the famous Ballet and Opera Theater, stroll along the ancient streets of Novosibirsk and enjoy the great views of the Ob River.
- Optional tours: Visit the Open Air Railway Museum, State Art Museum tour or visit the Mineralogical Center.
After the tour, you return on board your train and continue traveling.
Day 6: On Board the Train
You spend this day on board your luxurious Golden Eagle train. Enjoy fantastic sceneries passing by your window, a diverse entertainment program, gourmet dining and a company of your fellow travelers from all over the world.
Day 7: Irkutsk City Tour
Today you arrive in Irkutsk, informally known as "Paris of Siberia" for its rich architecture and colorful life.
During your sightseeing tour you see the House of Europe also known as the "wooden lace" house and take a relaxing walk along Karl Marx Street that is the most beautiful street in Irkutsk.
The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Decembrist Volkonsky House Museum dedicated to the memory of the exiled aristocrats who were forced to flee to this remote outpost after the failed revolution of 1825, where you enjoy a champagne reception and a private concert.
- Optional tours: Cooking master class with a local chef or visit to a traditional Russian dacha (summer house) or an urban apartment.
After the tour, you return on board your train and continue traveling.
Day 8: Stop at Lake Baikal
Today your train makes a stop at the picturesque Lake Baikal that is the world's deepest freshwater lake known as the Pearl of Siberia.
You start exploring Baikal from a boat trip to Listvyanka village. During your sightseeing tour, you visit the Baikal Limnological Museum and Aquarium that houses an interesting display of the unique flora and fauna of the lake.
Later you enjoy a traditional barbecue, including freshly smoked omul fish, on the shore of Lake Baikal (if weather permits).

Later you return on board your train and continue traveling.
Day 9: Ulan Ude City Tour
Today you arrive in Ulan Ude - the capital city of the Republic of Buryatia. Upon arrival you meet your guide and enjoy a wonderful sightseeing tour around the most famous city attractions.
Later you visit an authentic Old Believers’ village, where you will learn more about the culture and history of the Buryats and attend a concert featuring local traditions and folk singing.
After the tour, you return on board your train and continue traveling.
Day 10: Ulan Bator City Tour
Today you arrive in the capital of Mongolia - Ulan Bator. Upon arrival, you meet your private guide who takes you on a wonderful tour around the most famous city attractions.
During the tour, you see a central Sukhabaatar Square with the monument to Genghis Khan and visit the legendary Gandan Monastery that is considered the most important center for Buddhist learning in all of Mongolia.
Then you take a trip to the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park where you have the chance to visit a traditional ger (yurt), meet a nomadic family, enjoy the beautiful sceneries of wild Mongolia and try your hand at horse-riding.
- Optional tours: Visit to the National Museum or visit to the Bogd Khan Winter Palace Museum.
After the tour, you return on board your train and continue traveling.
Day 11: On Board the Train
You spend this day on board your luxurious Golden Eagle train. Enjoy fantastic sceneries passing by your window, a diverse entertainment program, gourmet dining and a company of your fellow travelers from all over the world.

Day 14: Arrival and Vladivostok City Tour
After traveling through 8 time zones and covering around 6,600 miles (10,600 km) along the epic Trans-Siberian route, your train finally arrives in Vladivostok - one of the most significant Russian ports located on the western shores of the Sea of Japan.
During the tour you visit the historical center of Vladivostok, the Memorial Submarine S-56 Museum and the iconic bridge over Golden Horn Bay.
After the tour you are transferred to your centrally located hotel for check-in.
Day 15: Departure
This is the final day of your fantastic Golden Eagle train tour! Following breakfast you check out from the hotel and your driver transfers you to the airport for your flight back home. We wish you a safe flight and hope to work on your future trips!

How to book
To book, all you need to do is to make a deposit of 20% of trip price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change. Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.
Can I modify my trip after I booked
Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
