Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to Slovenia! Upon arrival at Ljubljana airport, you are met by your private driver, who transfers you to the hotel in Bled for check-in.
The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 2: Triglav National Park and Julian Alps
Following breakfast in your hotel, meet your private driver for an exciting trip around Triglav National Park and the very heart of the Julian Alps.
Today you enjoy a scenic drive with stops at points of interest and optionally you may take part in activities like swimming and rafting on the spot.*
There are also 3 major and very scenic and rewarding hikes of moderate grade involved throughout the day, around 30-45 minutes each.
After the tour you return to the hotel in Bled.
In the evening you may extend your program and join a group of wine enthusiasts for the evening wine tasting. Together with a wine expert, you try 7 top Slovenian wines paired with delicious local specialties.

Day 3: Departure to Ljunbljana
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and have a short transfer to Ljubljana.
Day 3: Arrival and City Tour
Upon arrival in Ljubljana, meet your guide for sightseeing including all of the major attractions.
You explore the old town with its mix of Baroque, Art Nouveau and Renaissance architectural styles. Visit the medieval Ljubljana castle which is the main symbol of the city. As a highlight, you enjoy scenic views over the city during a funicular ride.
After the tour you have time to explore the city on your own or you may join an optional Craft Beer walking tour to visit 6 best microbrews located in the very heart of Ljubljana with a private guide.
Day 4: Food Tour
Following breakfast in the hotel, you meet with a private guide to take a perfect introduction to Ljubljana's gastronomy and feel like a local. During a short walk through the medieval part of Ljubljana, you discover freshly picked local and seasonal products, unique dishes and stories that differentiate them from the rest.
You stop in several local establishments to sample traditional as well as modern Slovenian cuisine.

Day 5: Departure to Portoroz
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and meet your private driver for a transfer to Portoroz.
On the way to Portoroz you first stop is the cave park, offering a wonderful subterranean world abundant with unusual sculptures and animals.
Together with a local guide, you enjoy the cave's wonderful underground world of passages, halls, and galleries abundant with cave formations. Not far from the cave, above the surface, you have a chance to admire the Predjama Castle embraced by the rock. Your guide in the castle tells you about times of knights, troubadours, weapons and of course the most fascinating legends.
*Note: guided tours on sites are led in small groups by the museum's guide.
Day 5: Arrival in Portoroz
Upon arrival in Portoroz, you have a check-in and the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6: Walking tour of Piran
Following breakfast in the hotel, meet your private driver for a short transfer to Piran.
Here you start a 2-hour private walking tour and your guide takes you through this beautiful town with Venetian architecture. Today you hear many romantic stories and legends and enjoy the view over the Saint George church. Along with the city exploration you have several stops to taste local specialties.
After the tour, you have a transfer back to Portoroz.
Day 7: Wine Tour
Following breakfast in the hotel, meet with your private guide and driver to take a half-day trip to the countryside.
Today you start with a scenic drive to Wine fountain where you have a tasting of authentic wine and continue to the local winery. Following an introduction tour about wine production, you have a tasting paired with local nibbles.
After a winery visit, you are taken back to the hotel in Portoroz.
You may also highlight your day with a trip to Lipica Stud Farm, which is the oldest stud farm in Europe dating back to 1580 and it has been breeding horses ever since. On the farm yo may join a guided tour (included in tickets) and depend on the date* of the visit you may also see the Lipica Horse Show.
*Note: the show is running at 15:00 every Sunday in April; every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday in May, June, September, October; every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in July, August.
Day 8: Departure
This is the last day of your amazing escape in Slovenia! Following breakfast and check-out, you meet with your driver for a transfer to Trieste rail station or airport.

How to book
To book, all you need to do is to make a deposit of 20% of trip price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change.  Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.
Can I modify my trip after I booked
Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
