Copenhagen, Denmark

As if leaping from the pages of the fairytale book about the Snow Queen, dreamy Copenhagen is a real tidbit for travelers from all around the globe. Recently, the Danish people were recognized as the happiest nation in the world, and one of the reasons for that is certainly the indisputable beauty of their capital. Copenhagen is definitely the spot for a saturated cultural and artistic experience. Probably the most famous Copenhagen attraction is the colorful waterfront district of Nyhavn which historically served as a gateway from the sea to the inner city, nowadays it provides stunning photo opportunities with typically Danish tiny houses and serene boats peacefully waggling in the canal. Choosing cycling as your way to explore marvelous Copenhagen is a perfect way to understand the local lifestyle and discover the major landmarks like the Town Hall Square, the Christiansborg Palace, the Old Danish Stock Exchange, and the symbol of Copenhagen, the statue of the Little Mermaid....

Plus, being the key hub of the world's most scenic railway (breathtaking Flamsbana), reaching Flam alone via the longest and deepest fjord in Europe, Sognefjord, passing waterfalls, mountain peaks, cliffs, and valleys is an experience of a lifetime on its own! The location of the village in the heart of western Norway's Aurland is another perk, as this part of the country is perfect for boat rides, hikes, and picturesque walks, offering many gorgeous viewpoints. Stockholm, Sweden

Rich historical assets, inspiring modern art, simple yet tasteful design and innovations, Viking spirit, distinctive cuisine, and trendy coffee culture - what can unite all these features? Of course, the city in the spotlight of the discussion is beautiful Stockholm. Speaking of an ideal Stockholm itinerary, it starts from the charming cobblestone streets of Gamla Stan (Old Town), swarming with eye-pleasing colorful buildings, souvenir shops, and atmospheric coffee houses where locals have their traditional “fika” ritual, very similar to the English afternoon tea but more often with coffee. In fact, cosmopolitan Stockholm has activities for every taste. Whether you want to immerse in the local culture by visiting the Vasa Ship Museum or exploring the Royal Palace, trying meatballs with cranberry jam, taking a ride in the museum-like Stockholm metro, or even enjoying the simplicity of Scandinavian design by popping into an Ikea shop, be sure, the creative Swedes and their beloved capital won’t disappoint you in any case!...
  • Day By Day

    Day 8: Arrival
Upon arrival, you have a transfer to the centrally located hotel.

The rest of the day is free to start exploring Stockholm attractions on your own, dine in a local restaurant or take a good rest in your comfortable room.

Day 9: Stockholm City Tour with Vasa Museum

During the tour you see the City Hall, explore the brilliant Old Town of Stockholm, that is one of the biggest and most well-preserved medieval Old Towns in Europe. Together you continue the tour to see the famous Royal Palace and the Stockholm Cathedral.

Then following a short ferry ride, you continue to the island of Djurgarden to explore the world-famous Vasa Museum. It displays the only almost fully intact 17th-century ship that sank on its maiden voyage. It is rated as the most visited museum in the entire Scandinavia.

After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore Stockholm on your own or enjoy one of our optional evening recommendations.

*Note: public transportation is included in the tour.

We advise you to visit Junibacken, a special children's attraction devoted to Swedish children’s literature, located close to Vasa Museum.
