Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to the legendary capital of Russia - Moscow! Upon arrival, your private driver transfers you to the hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free to relax in your cozy room, dine in one of the nearby restaurants or start exploring the amazing city center on your own.

Day 2: Panoramic City Tour & Bolshoi Theater Tour
Following breakfast, you embark on a panoramic Moscow city tour with private guide and driver.

Today you enjoy one of the best city views at Sparrow Hills and see the grand building of Moscow State University, the highest of seven Stalinist skyscrapers of Moscow. You also view the spectacular Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and learn the story of its destruction and reconstruction.

After a short break you take a 1.5-hour guided tour of Bolshoi Theater covering both history and architecture. The ballet and opera in Bolshoi are amongst the oldest and most renowned theater companies in the world. During the tour you visit all the main parts of the historical building, including Imperial auditorium and Beethoven auditorium.

After the tour you are transferred to your hotel.

*Note: the tour is not available on Saturday and Sunday; not available from mid July to mid September.


Day 3: Exploring the Kremlin & Evening Performance
This day is dedicated to the exploration of one of the most outstanding Moscow icons - the Kremlin and the heart of Moscow - the Red Square.

Following breakfast, you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and walk to the Kremlin territory where you have a chance to explore the gems hidden behind the Kremlin walls such as the Cathedral Square and the Assumption and Annunciation cathedrals. Then you visit the famous Armoury Chamber that houses a unique collection of crown jewels, stunning coronation finery, hand-forged armor and weapons, royal carriages and sleighs, and world-famous Fabergé eggs.

After a short break for coffee, you take a walk through the beautiful Red Square, go inside the colorful St. Basil's Cathedral and explore the famous GUM department store. After the tour, you walk back to your hotel. 

In the evening you are invited for the show at Bolshoi Theater. Transfers are included.

*Note: performance is not available during theater holidays from mid July to mid September.

Day 4: Trip to Tchaikovsky House Museum in Klin
Today's tour is dedicated to life and art of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, one of the greatest Russian composers whose works are included in the world's most popular classical repertoire.

In the morning you meet your guide and driver and travel to the town of Klin located 85 km (53 mi) northwest of Moscow. Upon arrival, you pay a guided visit to the Tchaikovsky House-Museum. Tchaikovsky resided in this house in 1892, one year before he passed on. During this time he created his last major work, the 6th Symphony. You discover many aspects of Tchaikovsky's private life, see the composer's piano, visit the places where he lived and wrote his music.

You also view the architectural sights of Klin: 16th-century church of the Dormition cloister and the 18th century baroque Resurrection cathedral before you head back to Moscow. Upon arrival, you are transferred to the train station.

*The tour is not available on Wednesday, Thursday and last Monday of a month.

Day 4: Arrival
Welcome to St.-Petersburg - the Venice of the North! Upon arrival, you are met by your private driver, who transfers you to the hotel for the check-in.

The rest of the day is at your own leisure to relax after the trip.

Day 5: Panoramic Theater Tour & Evening Concert
After breakfast you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and go on an amazing panoramic city tour dedicated to the theater life of St. Petersburg.

At first you are driven to the Sheremetev Palace that was once the centre of aristocratic life in the city. The palace boasted not only extensive lands, but also its own theatre where the famous troupe and orchestra performed.

Next you have a tour of the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood which stands where Russia's great emperor Alexander II was mortally wounded (entrance included). You then walk to the Arts Square and explore its beautiful ensemble including the Mikhailovsky Theater. You continue to Palace Square, the Hermitage Museum and the Hermitage Theatre which was the main platform for court performances.

After viewing the Peter and Paul Fortress - a burial place of almost all the Russian emperors and empresses - you reach the Museum of Political History of Russia hosted in Kschessinska Mansion. You visit an exposition dedicated to the outstanding ballerina, who left a bright mark in the history of Russian art.

*Note: the museum is closed on Thursday and last Monday of each month.

The other sights you see today are the St. Isaac's Cathedral dominating the St. Petersburg skyline, the historical Mariinsky Theatre of opera and ballet and Theater Square with monument to Mikhail Glinka. After the tour you return to the hotel.

In the evening you are invited for the show at Mariinsky Concert Hall. Transfers are included.

Day 6: Tour of the Hermitage Museum
Following breakfast, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and go to the legendary Hermitage Museum to see its unique collection of world art.

During the tour, you visit the halls of the Winter Palace to explore the main collection of the Hermitage, including the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, El Greco, Francisco Goya and Thomas Gainsborough.

You then cross the Palace square to enter the General Staff Building which houses Hermitage's superb collection of Modern European Art, primarily consisting of the world-famous French impressionist and post-impressionist paintings.

After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

*Note: you can add a backstage tour to Mariinsky Theater or Mikhailovsky Theater (subject to availability). Contact your destination specialist for details.

Day 7: Trip to Peterhof & Mariinsky Performance
After breakfast you meet your guide in the hotel lobby and travel to the outskirts of St. Petersburg to explore the former summer residence of Russian tsars and the gem of palace architecture - Peterhof.

During the tour you visit the famous Bath Cottage and take a walk in the beautiful Lower Park, lavishly adorned with 176 fountains of various forms and styles and numerous gilded statues of ancient gods and heroes.

After the tour you return to your hotel. In the evening you are invited for the show at Mariinsky Theater. Transfers are included.

Day 8: Departure
This is the final day of your amazing Moscow - St. Petersburg tour! After breakfast you check out from your hotel and your private driver takes you to the airport for your flight back home.

The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change.  Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.

Can I modify my trip after I booked

Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
