Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to the European capital of music - charming Vienna! Upon arrival, you check in to the hotel in the very heart of the city.

The rest of the day is free for you to either relax or start exploring glorious Vienna on your own.

Day 2: City Tour & Vienna State Opera
Following breakfast at the hotel, your guide takes you on a 4-hour walking tour through the downtown area of Vienna.

You first walk through the Kärntnerstrasse, a shopping street in the pedestrian zone of the city center, to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. You continue your walk along the Graben und the Kohlmarkt, a very exquisite shopping area, to Imperial Palace Hofburg, the former winter residence of the Habsburgs. It now houses the Imperial Apartments, Sisi Museum, Imperial Silver Chamber, Austrian National Library and much more.

The next on your list is Ring avenue with its numerous magnificent buildings, such as the Museums of Fine Art and National History, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater, to name a few. During the tour you also see Neuer Markt and the Capuchin monastery.

You also enjoy a 40-minute group tour of Vienna State Opera or Wiener Staatsoper to see many things that remain hidden from the evening audience. The tour route starts from the foyer, then you take the grand staircase to the state rooms like Tea Salon, Schwind Foyer, Marble Hall. You finally reach the auditorium to catch a look at the stage. After the tour you return to your hotel.

In the evening we invite you to the show at Vienna State Opera. Transfers are included.

Day 3: Schonbrunn Palace & Vienna Woods Exploration
After breakfast your guide and driver take you on a 4-hour touring program around the most significant sites within the boundaries and in the surrounding area of Vienna.

During the tour you explore the Vienna Woods, which are the most eastern foothills of the Alps. You enjoy a stunning view over the city and Danube River from Kahlenberg, the highest hill in the city.

Then you drive through the wine area in the foot of the Vienna Woods, the town of Grinzing, and learn why Vienna is called the 'Wine-Growing Capital of the World'.

Next on your list is the magnificent Schonbrunn Palace, the former summer royal residence, that gives you a historical impression of the glorious imperial times. A highlight is a guided inside visit to the showrooms of the Palace. 

After the tour you return to your hotel in Vienna. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4: Train to Salzburg
Following breakfast you check out from the hotel and depart from Vienna.

You see the Getreidegasse and Mozart’s birthplace, pass by the Festival Houses where the Salzburg Festival is held every year, stroll along the narrow streets and enjoy the flair of this old city. 

After a 3-hour tour you return back to your hotel or continue exploring Salzburg on your own.

Day 5: Mozart Tour & Concert at Mirabell Palace
Today you get a chance to learn about one of the greatest musical geniuses of all times - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - while visiting his hometown.

Following breakfast your private guide-driver meets you in the hotel lobby and together you head to Mozart's Birthplace (one of the most visited museums in Austria) and then to Residence which hosts some of the furniture and musical instruments that Mozart owned. After a 3-hour tour you return to Salzburg.

Note: the tour has limited availability during Mozart week (January 23 to February 2, 2020).

In the evening you head to the historically significant concert hall at Mirabell Palace (located within walking distance from he thotel) to enjoy a glorious classical concert. A drink is included.

In the ancient part of the town the world-famous Hofbrauhaus, the medieval town gates, and the colorful open-air market Viktualienmarkt are waiting for you. Munich’s elegant Maximilian Street offers views at the Bavarian Parliament, Deutsches Museum and Royal Palace.

After a lunch break you have a private guided tour of Bavarian State Opera, or Bayerische Staatsoper. Bavarian State Opera is settled in a historic opera house that is also a home of Bavarian State Orchestra and the Bavarian State Ballet.

During a 1-hour tour you learn many essential facts about the various goings-on in the theatre, hear interesting stories about the architecture of the house and find out who were the people influenced the opera house over the last 350 years. Day 8: Day-trip to Neuschwanstein Castle & Bavarian Alps
Experience a truly royal day tour of the majestic Neuschwanstein Castle which inspired Walt Disney!

Today Neuschwanstein is one of the most popular of all the palaces and castles in Europe. Every year 1.4 million people visit "the castle of the fairy-tale king". Each summer around 6,000 visitors a day stream through rooms that were initially intended for a single inhabitant. During the guided group tour of the castle, you learn about the eccentric Fairy Tale King Ludwig II, a builder of this imposing landmark, his complicated life in Bavaria at the start of the Second Reich and his life-long friendship with the composer Richard Wagner.

On the way back to Munich, your private guide-driver can make a stop at Linderhof Palace or other beautiful sights in the picturesque region of Bavarian Alps.

Day 9: Departure
This is the last day of the tour, your driver meets you in the hotel lobby after breakfast. You are transferred to the airport and depart home with a handful of memorable experiences.

Can I modify my trip after I booked

Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone. Day 6: Evening Performance at Bavarian State Opera
Welcome to the magnificent capital of Bavaria! Upon arrival, you meet your driver and head to your centrally-located hotel. After check-in, you have time for rest.

In the evening we invite you to the show at Bavarian State Opera. Transfers are included.

Day 7: Exploring Munich & Bavarian State Opera Tour
After breakfast, you meet your private guide and go on a fascinating 3-hour tour of Munich's beautiful old town to get an insight into the city's turbulent 850-year history.

With its exuberant atmosphere and vitality, Munich is one of Europe's great cultural centers. Enjoy your city tour around Marien Square, Church of Our Lady and Residenz Palace. In the ancient part of the town the world-famous Hofbrauhaus, the medieval town gates, and the colorful open-air market Viktualienmarkt are waiting for you. Munich’s elegant Maximilian Street offers views at the Bavarian Parliament, Deutsches Museum and Royal Palace.

After a lunch break you have a private guided tour of Bavarian State Opera, or Bayerische Staatsoper. Bavarian State Opera is settled in a historic opera house that is also a home of Bavarian State Orchestra and the Bavarian State Ballet.

During a 1-hour tour you learn many essential facts about the various goings-on in the theatre, hear interesting stories about the architecture of the house and find out who were the people influenced the opera house over the last 350 years. Your route covers the Ionic Hall, the Royal Hall and the auditorium.

After the tour, you have a transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Today Neuschwanstein is one of the most popular of all the palaces and castles in Europe. Every year 1.4 million people visit "the castle of the fairy-tale king". Each summer around 6,000 visitors a day stream through rooms that were initially intended for a single inhabitant. During the guided group tour of the castle, you learn about the eccentric Fairy Tale King Ludwig II, a builder of this imposing landmark, his complicated life in Bavaria at the start of the Second Reich and his life-long friendship with the composer Richard Wagner.
