After the tour, as the highlight of your day, you visit Ararat Brandy Factory, where you not only learn how Armenians make their signature drink but get to taste it too!
Afterwards, your driver takes you back to your hotel in Yerevan.
Day 9: Visits to Armenian Monasteries & Hellenistic Garni Temple
After breakfast you continue your Armenian adventure with your guide and driver.
At first you are transferred outside Yerevan to explore the Khor Virap Monastery, a famous pilgrimage site located right at the foot of a biblical Mount Ararat. Here you enjoy the most breathtaking views of Ararat Valley and the mountain.
Your next stop is the pagan temple of the early Armenian civilisation in the village of Garni. This ancient temple overlooking the beautiful Azat Valley used to be a summer residence for the Armenian royal dynasties and now is a popular tourist destination. You finish today's sightseeing program with a visit to the beautiful Geghard monastery partially carved out of the adjacent mountain.
After the visit you are transferred back to your hotel in Yerevan. The rest of the day is free.
Day 10: Departure
This is the final day of your one-of-a-kind journey around the most picturesque and sacred places of Georgia and Armenia. After breakfast your driver meets you in the hotel lobby and takes you to the airport for your flight back home.
