Day 1: Arrival in Moscow
Welcome to the brilliant capital of Russia - Moscow! Your private driver meets you at the arrival hall at the airport and takes you to the port to board your MS Chernyshevsky cruise ship.
Day 1: Embarkation
Upon arrival, you enjoy a traditional Bread, Salt & Vodka Ceremony and enjoy dinner onboard.
Day 2: Moscow Sightseeing Tour & Visiting the Kremlin
Following breakfast onboard you meet your guide at the pier and have a wonderful bus sightseeing tour around the most outstanding Moscow attractions.
During the bus tour, you pass many famous locations and avenues. Then you have some free time to explore the beautiful Red Square, see the colorful St. Basil's Cathedral and other main sights. Then you pass by the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. After lunch in the city center, you proceed to a real Russian miracle and its most famous symbol, the mighty Kremlin, where you go inside one of its gorgeous cathedrals decorated with magnificent frescoes.
After the tour, you return to the ship. Entertainment program in the evening.
Day 3: Free Morning in Moscow & Start of the Cruise
After breakfast on board, you have the morning free for joining optional tours* or spending some relaxing time on the ship.
After lunch in the second part of the day, the ship departs from the port and the cruise begins. Afterward, there is a Captain's Welcome Cocktail reception, dinner is served on board, a concert and entertainment on the ship follow.

Day 4: Exploring Uglich Highlights
Today after breakfast you may join a Russian language class on the ship. After lunch, you arrive at the small town of Uglich, where a historically significant political turmoil known as the Times of Trouble started.
During the tour, you explore the Kremlin territory, see the Transfiguration Cathedral and the famous Church of St. Dmitry-on-Blood, built on the site where Ivan the Terrible's son, Dmitry, was murdered in 1591.
Following the tour, you return on board and continue cruising. After dinner, there's a Folk concert in the evening.
Day 5: Touring Yaroslavl
Today after breakfast you explore one of the oldest Russian cities and the gem of the Volga River - Yaroslavl.
During your guided bus city tour you have some free time at the local market. Then you see the wonderful Church of Elijah the Prophet from the outside and have an inside visit to the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. As a highlight of the day, you have an interactive tour of the former governor's house art gallery.
Then you return to the ship in time for lunch and may then join Russian bingo. A Russian Tea Ceremony is planned next, followed by a Russian language and songs class which you may join. In the evening enjoy a dinner on board and can afterward watch a documentary about Russian history.
Day 6 : Visiting the Monastery of St. Cyril in Goritsy
After breakfast and lunch, you arrive to Goritsy - a tiny picturesque settlement near White Lake.
Your guided tour includes a visit to the Monastery of St. Cyril, that was founded in 1397 and now houses one of the greatest collections of Russian icons in the world in its museum which you see.
After the tour, you return on board and are welcome to join a Vodka and blini tasting party, later followed by Russian songs class. After dinner, there's a folk concert, entertainment program in the evening.
Day 7: Exploring the Open-Air Museum of Kizhi
Today after breakfast you can attend a lecture on Russian fairytales, as well as a class on Russian dances, language and napkin folding on the ship.
After lunch, there's a captains bridge tour and a Pirate's treasure-seeking game. Then your ship arrives to a real miracle of wooden architecture - the fantastic Kizhi Island.
During your walking tour, you explore its famous UNESCO sights, see the dazzling 22-domed Transfiguration Church from outside built without a single nail, beautiful windmills and ancient Russian wooden houses. You also visit the Intercession Cathedral and a traditional wooden izba house and sauna.
After the tour you return on board in time for a pirate dinner. Entertainment show program in the evening.
Day 8: Mandrogi Walking Tour
Today after breakfast you are free to ask questions about Russia at the Round Table. Then you arrive in Mandrogi - a small village located on the 139-mile-long Svir River.
You spend some wonderful time here during your free time in Mandrogi exploring its beautifully-decorated wooden houses and experiencing the traditional mode of life of the Russian countryside.
You are then welcome to have an outdoor lunch barbeque ashore (provided good weather conditions). Then you return on board and in the evening are invited to a Captain's farewell dinner with a Talent show.
Day 9: St. Petersburg Sightseeing Tour & Visiting the Hermitage
Following breakfast, you arrive to the Northern capital of Russia - St. Petersburg. Your guide meets you at the pier and takes you on a sightseeing bus tour around the most famous city attractions.
During the tour you have a walking tour of the Peter and Paul Fortress - a burial place of almost all Russian emperors and empresses from Peter the Great to Nicholas II and have an inside visit of the Peter and Paul Cathedral.
After lunch in the city center, you visit one of the world’s largest art museums - the Hermitage. They say that if you were to spend three minutes by each of the exhibits in the Hermitage Museum, it would have taken you three years to see the entire exhibition. But don't worry, you have an experienced guide, who will show you the best rooms and halls of the exhibit within several hours.
After the tour, you return on board in time for dinner.
Day 10: Day Trip to Peterhof
After breakfast, you meet your guide and travel to the outskirts of St. Petersburg to explore the territory of former summer residence of Russian tsars and the gem of palace architecture - Peterhof.
During the tour, you take a walk in the beautiful Lower Park, lavishly adorned with 176 fountains of various forms and styles and numerous gilded statues of ancient gods and heroes.
After the tour you return to the ship, have lunch and dinner on board. Entertainment program in the evening.
Day 11: Free Day in St. Petersburg or Optional Trips
You have this day free to relax on board the ship or go on optional tours* to Pushkin & Pavlovsk.
Lunch and dinner are served on board. Entertainment program in the evening.

Day 12: Departure from St. Petersburg
This is the final day of your amazing Moscow - St. Petersburg cruise.
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast you have a transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

How to book
To book, all you need to do is to make a deposit of 20% of trip price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but you can always transfer it to another trip if your plans change. Just click on the red button in the top right corner that will take you to the Payment page. After you make your deposit, we will book all things that you chose.
Can I modify my trip after I booked
Of course! You can continue planning and even changing your trip to your heart's content up to 90 days before departure. Just keep in mind that all non-refundable hotels are set in stone.
