Full Day Trip to Bath by Train in London
Founded by the Romans as a thermal spa, Bath became an important center of the wool industry in the Middle Ages. In the 18th century, under George III, it developed into an elegant town with neoclassical Palladian buildings, which blend harmoniously with the Roman baths.
Today you take advantage of your public transport day pass to arrive to the station. Then you board a 1.5-hour train running to Bath.
Upon arrival, you meet your private professional guide and together you explore the highlights of the city and its most interesting sights on a private walking tour. Entrance to the Roman Baths, a well-preserved historical site dating back to 70AD, is included.
